Leah furrowed her brow and heaved a long sigh, "Gosh! How could Leopold do that to you? That's not cool."

She could tell that Leopold had broken Aurelia's heart.

Leah choked on her words. Aurelia was so good-hearted that she always put others before herself, even when it was about her romantic prospects.

Aside from Leopold, she doubted she could love another. Elvis was a catch, sure, but he deserved someone who truly loved him.

Leah blushed. “But Avery doesn't like me that way. I'm just not his type.”

Aurelia wrapped an arm around her, replying, “Avery's a responsible guy. If he wanted to date someone, he wouldn't want to hide it and make her feel bad. But going public means making an enemy of a million fan girls.

He's scared of the fallout, so he wouldn't show it even if he did like you."

Leah lowered her head, sighing softly, “Aurelia, you Know, Avery doesn't like me. He just sees me as a little sister”

Aurelia smiled knowingly. "Does he get all worked up when he sees you with Hyvin?"

“He's just looking out for me,” Leah murmured.

“I'm his sister, and he doesn't throw a fit when he sees me with other guys, Aurelia patted her shoulder gently.

"Silly girl, a man only gets that jealous when he cares!"

A spark of hope ignited in Leah's eyes. "Really?"

Aurelia nodded. "Love is blind, but the bystander sees clear. He's my brother, and ne one knows him better than Ido”

Leah's heart, sunken in the depths, suddenly surfaced, leaping joyously among the waves.

"Aurelia, what should I do for our mock date? I want Avery to see I can be an amazing girlfriend and that I am not like Bonnie, who broke his heart.”

"Just be yourself, really. You know each other well. The more relaxed you are, the better it will be” Aurelia pondered for a few seconds. "Maybe you can have a candlelit dinner, watch a movie, or stargaze in the backyard.”

Leah scratched her head, feeling a bit awkward.

Crap, she couldn't cook, let alone prepare a candlelit dinner.

She'd have to learn fast to show Avery she could be as graceful as Aurelia, a real catch both in the living room and the kitchen.

Leaving Leah's room, Aurelia returned to hers. When she opened the door, she saw an unfamiliar man sitting on her sofa.

His face looked farniliar, but she couldn't place where she'd seen him before.

"Who are you? How did you get in my room? What do you want?" She looked around but couldn't see her bodyguard, Yuna, who should've been inside.
