Leah let out a sigh and shook her head.

"Leopold is such a sad case. He married a woman who turned out to be a complete nutjob. Now he's got to sneak around and can't even enjoy a vacation in peace.”

"I bet Leopold was itching to get a divorce. If she hadn't gotten pregnant, he probably would've had the papers drawn up by now."

Avery snorted, "Well, that was his own doing. He was the one who messed around with Megan, ditching Aurelia

"Aurelia, this weekend Avery's gonna play my boyfriend."

"What?" Aurelia's eyes lit up, "He confessed his love to you?"

A blush crept onto Leah's cheeks, "No, he's just pretending to be my boyfriend. You know, like a trial run at dating.”

Aurelia paused, then laughed, "No worries. Practice makes perfect. You're smart, and you'll win Avery over in no time"

She knew this was Leah's brainchild, because Avery wouldn't have dreamt up such a game.

Leah pulled a face, "I need to find somewhere quiet to avoid the paparazzi. Otherwise, they'll blow it up into some scandal.”

"How about my villa? It's secluded, and the paparazzi won't catch you there,” Aurelia suggested after a moment's thought.

Leah smiled, "Aurelia, what should I do for a first date?"

Aurelia scratched her head, unsure herself.

“Where did you and Leopold go for your first date? What did you guys do?"

"Leopold and I never dated, and we got married as strangers. So, we never had a date and we didn't have a connection. If it was true love, we wouldn't be talking about divorce.”

Leah stared at her intently, “Do you think Leopold doesn't love you?"

“If he truly loved me, why would he have married Megan so quickly? He is so eager to divorce me to rekindle things with her.”

As she spoke, a sad smile spread across Aurelia’s face.

"They always want the next best thing. When Megan was gone, he began to miss her, and I was not important anymore. Now that Megan's changed, and I became the one he suddenly wanted back."
