This week has flown by. My birthday is tomorrow. All week I’ve gone to the diner at lunch to help Grandma Peggy. I’ve met all of the pack by now. Reo says that after I’m Luna and have a link to everyone that names and faces will come naturally to me. I’m glad cause right now, it’s hard to remember everyone. We are one of the largest packs. Everyone is awesome. They already call me Luna and make me feel like I was born in this pack. I didn’t realize just how wonderful a good pack could really be. Grandma Peggy is the best too. She’s really taken me under her wing. When I’m not at the diner with her I’m at the pack house learning how to be a Luna from Tammy and spending time with Blair, Pam, Val and Tabitha. Val just found out she’s pregnant. We are so excited for her. Reo is busy lately with the vampire war. They attacked another small pack in the west. Took 132 citizens’ lives. It’s so sad. We make sure to have breakfast and dinner together alone in our apartment though and after dinner we watch a movie or tv show or just talk. We’ve gotten so much closer in just a week. I’m already falling in love with him. He also got me all sorts of art equipment and set up one of the spare rooms as my art studio. I draw and paint in the little spare time I have. Art is a true joy for me.

I’m nervous and excited about tomorrow. I get my powers, though we don’t know how or when I’ll get them. I also will feel the mate bond. I can’t wait. Reo already has the day planned for just me and him to be together then my party tomorrow night. Grandma Peggy is making my birthday cake. The omegas got together to do the food. Omegas are treated right here, by the way. It’s going to be great.

Today, after we had breakfast, I was told by Reo to wait in the apartment for a surprise. He gave me a kiss and left to do his Alpha thing. So, here I am, on the couch, just waiting. I don’t know what I’m waiting for but I’m waiting. Reo’s been gone for about 30 minutes when there is a knock on the door. I answer to see Tammy, Blair, Pam, Tabitha and Val. And Caleb? That’s different, but ok. I let them in.

“So, what’s the surprise?” I ask.

“You’ll see. First, let’s go get in the pack van. We’re going to the city,” Blair says.

“Does Reo know about that?” I ask. I can’t imagine he’s ok with me going to the city right now.

“Yes. I enchanted this ring to mask your power’s aura just in case a demonic witch is around. This is the last day my power is strong enough to cover you. After tomorrow there’s nothing we can do to hide you. The enchantment also only works for four hours tops. And Caleb is here as our muscle and protection,” Tabitha says as she gives me the ring to put on.

Caleb smiles and bows to me.

“Ah, that explains a lot. I’m still shocked though.”

“We’re only going to one place and will be there for two or two and half hours then we’ll come right back here. And where we’re going is next to our construction building. Reo is there till after lunch today,” Tammy tells me.

Now that makes more sense. I tell everybody that we should go then. My enchanted ring only has so much time. I’m very curious about my surprise as well. We all load in the van and head to the city. It’s only a 20 minute drive away. I haven’t been able to see it yet so that’s another fun part of the day. If that’s all we do I’ll be happy. As we reach the city limits, Blair points out the library and the mechanics shop as we pass them. Then we arrive at the construction building. We park there and get out. Reo walks out the door at that point. I can bet anything Caleb linked him as we were pulling in. He comes over to me and pulls me to him for a hug. He smells my neck, something wolves like to do with their mates. I apparently smell like oranges and cream. Makes sense, that’s one of my favorite flavors. After smelling me he gives me a kiss.

“Hey, Darlin. Ready for your surprise?”

“More than ready.”

“Well, Reo set this up just for you as a birthday present,” Tammy gushes. She’s so proud of and for her son. You can see she’s just glowing with pride.

“Thank you, Baby. You didn’t have to do anything though. We’re spending the day together tomorrow and then there is the party. That’s present enough,” I tell Reo.

“The world and the moon itself wouldn’t be present enough for you, Darlin.”

“Awe!” Tammy, Blair, Tabitha, Val and Pam sing song together.

I have to be as red as a tomato right now. I’m so happy though that my cheeks are hurting from how big I’m smiling. And I can’t stop. Reo gives me another kiss then grabs my hand takes me to the building next door. The sign says ‘Aura Spa.’

“A spa day?” I never thought I’d ever get to go to a spa.

“A one hour massage and one hour facial for my mate.”

“And all of us too!” Blair yells happily. “My wonderful brother wanted all of us to enjoy together, and got his baby sister a prenatal massage.” She jumps up and down, well, the best she can given she’s about to pop, and gives Reo a hug.

“You’re more than welcome, Bug. Now y’all go enjoy. Jerica’s ring only has so long. Tabitha, keep your guard up for demonic witches. Caleb is going stand guard outside. Darlin, I hope you enjoy. I’ll see you after,” Reo says then gives me another kiss. He watches us as we walk in to make sure we’re safe.

As we walk in we see a desk with a receptionist. She smiles at us and says she already knows who we are. Of course she does. She leads us to the back and shows us each to our rooms. Once in my room she tells me to strip down, I can be naked or keep my panties on, then lay face down on the massage table and my masseuse would be with me shortly. I thank her and she closes the door. The room is nice and comfortable. The lights are dimmed. It has a lovely relaxing color scheme. Soft music is playing. I see a chair against the wall and take my clothes off and lay them there. I decide to keep my panties on. I get on the table and put the light blanket on me as I lay face down. The table is heated and is the perfect temperature. So warm and cozy. The masseuse knocks on the door and I tell her I’m ready. She walks in and in a soft voice introduces herself as Dee. I introduce myself and she adjusts the blanket at my waist and starts the massage. It’s absolutely amazing. She uses scented lotions and oils that help in the relaxation. After my back I flip over and she covers my breast with the blanket and massages my shoulders and neck then moves to my legs and feet. By the time she’s done my muscles feel loose and like jello, in a good way. Then she starts my facial. Along with that she massages my head. I’m in heaven. I think I have a new best friend. Don’t tell Pam. Once my facial is finished she tells me in her soft voice that she’s gonna step out now and I can get dressed. She tells me to take my time and she’ll meet me out in the main area. When I hear the door close I stretch and reluctantly get up. I have never felt so good and relaxed. Reo is the best for setting this up for me. My face has also never been so smooth. I get dressed and walk out to meet everyone else. Our masseuses give us all a bottle water and tell us to make sure to drink it because the massage released lactic acid and the water will flush our bodies. We say our goodbyes and head out.

“Oh my goddess, I could live there,” Val says.

“I feel a thousand times better,” Blair says.

“Me too. And my masseuse was so sweet,” I say.

Everyone agrees that they loved their masseuse as well. Caleb is walking us to the van when Reo comes out.

“How was it ladies?”

“Reo, thank you so much for that. I feel wonderful and you’re the best mate ever,” I tell him as I give him a hug.

“Anything for you, Darlin. Now, y’all get back to the pack. Let me know once you’re there please, Caleb. I need my beautiful angel safe.”

I lean up and give him a kiss goodbye and get in the van. Once we get back to the pack house I give Tabitha the ring back and thank her again for doing that for me. I also thank Caleb for being our guard. We all walk in and have lunch and after we all agree that a nap would be the icing on the cake. I tell everyone I’ll see them later and head to the apartment. I take a nice long hot shower and wash the oil off my body and out of my hair. I get out and dry off and blow dry my hair. I put on my most comfy pjs and lay down for a nap. I fall asleep in two point five seconds and I dream of my amazing mate.
