Chapter-24 September 11th

Faithlynn's POV

I woke up to no one in the room, and went downstairs to catch Reagan making breakfast and my jaw dropped when I took in her full figure. She was wearing her basketball shorts and a tank top. And that's not why my jaw dropped, it dropped when I saw her waxed legs, god! I wonder what else she waxed. After staring at her flawless self for a while, I finally get my senses back.

Breakfast was tasty but she just had to ruined my mood by acting weird, maybe it's about last night. For the record I know she doesn't like to cry in front of anyone and since she did it in front of me maybe she's now embarrassed or want to avoid me at any cost, well than let's give her that.

Amelia has been calling me, she said she wanted to hang out with me. But I thought that maybe Reagan would want to spend some time with me, but clearly she's avoiding me and since I have nothing better to do why not go hang out with Amelia? Right? Right, so I called April and Aron too, since it's too risky to go out with Amelia alone, she might try to do something which might get her ass kicked really bad for real this time.

So we were sitting at a table waiting for Reagan to bring our food while I eat my favourite ice cream, yeah she is here too. She forcibly wanted to come hang with us, well now I don't have to carry my bags on my own, that's the plus.

Also she told me not to shop anymore, I mean I haven't even shopped yet and she is already stopping me from doing the thing I enjoy the most.

While I was eating the ice cream Amelia nudge me to look in a certain direction. My eyes popped out of it's socket when I saw Reagan holding a girl by her waist, what the hell?

She came to give us our food and went back to grab another tray while I sat their looking like an idiot.

She came and went back to that girl, Reagan gave her phone to that girl, while they talk and smile to each other, she's probably just helping her ir maybe they are exchanging numbers.

So I went back to my food that was sitting idle on the table. While I was enjoying my food Amelia nudge me again. " What the hell Amelia?" I asked annoyed.

"Look at your wife, giving a warm hug to another woman." I saw the girl went off after giving a hug to Rea.

"Do you know her?" This time April asked. I shook my head 'no'.

"You finished your dessert before the meal." Reagan said smiling, sitting beside me.

"Who was that girl?" April asked.

"I don't know,She got lost, I was just helping her out." Reagan said unwrapping her burger.

"Doesn't seem like that." Amelia mummble getting Reagan's attention.

Reagan looked at me and frown "I was just helping her, I don't even know her." She told me, I went back to eating my left over fries.

"What's her name?" Amelia asked.

"I said I don't know her, I don't know her name or anything else about her." Reagan replied agitated while Amelia laughed.

"Why are you being so defensive, are you hiding something Reagan?" Amelia just can't stop can she?

"Amelia for gods sake can you just shut your mouth". Aron warned taking in Reagans angry face.

"Why would I, I'm just asking the questions her wife wants answers of." Reagan's head turned towards me as if asking for me to say something.

"Do you want answers for those questions?" She asked me looking hurt and sad.

"Also why were you hughing her and why was she using your phone?" Amelia add.

"I need some air." I know what she's doing, she is just a freaking toxic in our lives, she just had to make everything worse, and I can't handle it right now.

"I'll come with you." Reagan said standing up leaving her untouched milkshake and burger.

"I'll be fine." I said and walked out of the mall.

"Faithlynn wait, wait for me." Reagan screamed running towards me.

"I swear I don't know that girl, I was just helping her, she said she's lost and she didn't had her phone , she needed to contact her friends so I let her borrow my phone for a while." She explained catching her breath.

"Okay" I said. But she looked like she want to say more.

"Faithlynn you trust me right?" She asked cautiously taking my hand into hers.

"Ofcourse I do. It's nothing okay, I understand you were just helping someone in need. That's what you do. It's fine, really." I said giving her a smile.

"So can we go in?" She asked.

"Do you mind if I go take a walk." I asked, I really need to clear my head, Amelia just ruined everything.

"Umm... Do you want me to come with you?"

"No."

"Okay then, I'll be sitting here, don't go around the corner, where I can't see you. Its already dark." She hesitantly let go of my hand and I walked away.

I think I might have made a mistake by marrying her, not because I don't trust her believe me I do and I'm more than happy to spend my life with such an amazing and caring person. But I think I took away her chance of finding love, like one should suppose to, not like marrying your bestfriend who need a citizenship. Who you don't love or never have you ever dreamt of a life with them, having kids and what not. When I saw Reagan with that girl all smiley and happy, I came to realise that maybe she liked someone but was waiting for a right time to make any move, but then I had to come into her life again and ruined everything.

I heard people laughing pulling me out of my thoughts. There were three men sitting at the pavement drinking. I was about to turn around to get back to Reagan when "ohh look at that" one of them slurs.

"Where are you going girly, want to come with us?" The other creepy dude said, I panicked and try to run but there was the third one blocking my way, ewww they stink.

I felt my heart beat faster when the creep took slow steps towards me. What should I do?

"Faithlynn." Reagan yelled running in my direction stopping few feet away.

"I told you not to go there, why can't you just listen to me?" She said conserned, grabbing my arm and pulling me towards her, I hugged her side and hold onto her, scared of those creeps.

Her attention then turned to the three dudes standing infront of us smiling creepily.

"I'll take her from here, thanks." She told them and start walking.

"Not so fast girlies." First creep said point a knife toward us. Shit shit shit.

Reagan pulled me behind her and took a protective stance in front of me. " We mean no harm to you guys, we can go to our own ways from here." She tried.

"Uh huh, we found this girl before you, so we will be taking her with us." The third creep slurs, giving me a creepy smile.

At this point I was practically hugging Reagan from behind with my trembling hands, clenching her shirt in my hands.

"How about we settle for some money?" Reagan said tossing them her wallet.

"Nope these plastic cards are of no use and you don't have much cash". The second guy threw her wallet and card on the pavement.

"Now give us the girly." First dude grumbled.

"When I say run, you have to run and call for help, okay." Reagan whispered to me, I shook my head 'no'.

"Please Faith, can't you just listen to me once?". She said agitated.

"I can't leave you alone." I said grabbing her shirt tightly.

"I'll be fine, you need to go. Okay?" She said pleading.

"Faithlynn please." She said again earning a nod.

"How about this watch." She said tossing her watch to the third guy " Go, go, go." She said and I ran without looking back.

"Aron, April. Rea-Reagan sh-she's in danger please come with me." They were standing near our cars when I reached them.

"April call 911". Aron said and ran towards the alley where I left Reagan.

When I reached the corner I saw the three dudes running away and Reagan was laying on the road bleading.

"Reagan." I cried and rushed over to her, her ones white and blue shirt was now covered in blood.

Aron picked her up and run towards our car, putting her in the back seat. I climbed after her putting her head in my lap.

"Hey!" She gulped.

"stay with me Reagan, okay, you are gonna be fine." I cried.

"It's hurting." She grunt kepping pressure on her wound.

"Keep your eyes open." I said tapping her face.

"I can't, I feel dizzy". She slurs, closing her eyes.

"Reagan." I yelled.

"I'm awake, I'm awake." She said slowly, trying to open her eyes.

"I don't feel good, Faith." She said, a lone tear falling out of her eyes.

"Drive faster Aron."

"You'll be fine, just keep your eyes open." I told her caressing her cheek.

"I-I need to t-tell you so-something." She stuttered taking my hand into hers.

"I-I L-Lo.." she stutteres but I stopped her before she completes her sentence "don't say it please don't say it."

"But I-I want t-to tell you." She cried.

"You can tell me everything when you are not bleading to death". I pleaded she chuckle.

"Okay, I'll tell you then, will you wait for me". She asked in a small voice.

"Ofcourse I'll, but promise me you'll not make me wait for long." I said trying to control my tears but failing.

"I'll try, but wait for me. And don't cry, it hurts seeing you cry." She said wiping my tears then her hand fall clumsily. She's out.
