Chapter-9 August 20th

Faithlynn's POV

Reagan's and my family are coming today. So Reagan has rented a neighborhood house so that they could settle down there.

The night at the restaurant was unexpected,the way Reagan proposed me in front of everyone was spectacular and she really surprised me. I never thought that she would give me a ring like that ,it felt so real ,like its all real but in reality its all fake, fake proposal, fake ring, fake wedding. I cant believe that Reagan has gone to such extent to buy me a beautiful expensive ring and above all she's marrying me , stopping her life plans just for me. I can't thank her enough for all the things she had done and will going to do.

Reagan has been gone to pick up her parents from the airport. And her siblings will be here in no time so is my family.

We were all sitting in the living room: Reagans parents ,my parents, her younger brother and older sister and my younger brother.

"So tell me who are the guys you both are marrying?" my mom asked in a cheerful voice.

"Seriously Reagan you are getting married?" Reagan's sister said acting shocked.

"I bet that guy must be blinded" her brother and sisiter laughed while their mother hush them both.

"I'm so glad you both are getting married at the same time" Rea's mom said happily, how should we tell them that we are marrying each other.

Rea looked at me and I hold her hand out of instinct, she's going to break the news, god I'm terrified. How are they going to react.

As I grab Reagan's hand my brother rose an eyebrow at me, i just ignored him and cleared my throat.

"So about the wedding." Reagan started, pausing for the dramatic silence. They all looked at her expectantly.

"Me and Faithlynn are getting married" she said releasing a deep sigh.

"We know that my dear but who are your partners?" Reagans mother asked sweetly. This woman is so sweet, loving and kind.

"Thats what I just told you mom, we are getting married to each other." Reagan said calmy, while I can feel her hand getting clammy and I know she is as nervous as I'm. The whole room went silent.

Then my brother started laughing, followed by Reagan's siblings and said " Good joke sis."

I don't know why but this hurts my feelings. Seeing both mine and Reagan's serious face the three of them stopped laughing and looked serious. " You are kidding right?Reagan?" Her sister asked in a cold tone.

"No" Reagan Whispered.

"You said you don't have feelings for her, what are you doing. I thought you were straight?" She said glaring at me. Why is she glaring at me?

"See mom what I suspected was right all along. She is stuck with her thats why she never dated anyone". Oh no she should not start with all that shit. I felt Reagan shaking due to the anger and I know she's going to burst any moment now.

"Shut up, with your pathetic assumptions, and dont judge who I love and who I want to marry. Its my life and I'll do whatever I want with it. Stop sticking you nose in my life for once" Reagan warns her sister.

"Stop it both of you." Reagan's father scolded his daughters.

"Faithlynn tell us the truth?" My mother demanded.

"Whatever Rea has said is true, mom. We want to marry each other." I said slowly, while my visions get blurry.

"This is not happening Faith." My brother said. And I looked at him in disbelief. I thought he woul be the one to support me, before anyone else.

"Its not up to you to decide that." My father said in his deep voice directed to my brother. I love my dad so much.

"I agree with Faithlynn's father, its their choice to spend there life with whoever they want. Right honey?" Reagans mother said questioning her Husband. And he just nodded agreeing with his wife.

I looked at my mother with pleading eyes "please mom."

She glare at Reagan and said "I don't want to hear any complaint from my daughter. If you ever hurt my baby I'll have your head." With that i squeal and hugged my mother. Then my mother smiled and walk to Reagan who just smiled and nodded then they hug. I feel so happy now that my mom approves and if my mom approve my dad approve too.

"You three." Reagan pointed to our siblings and said "If you cant support us, keep your mouth shut ,otherwise you all are not invited to our wedding."

"How can you marry such a rude person Faith?" My brother asked me in disbelief while Reagan just glare at him. She was about to say something when I stopped her by squeezing her hand a little.

"Look Frank, you know Reagan for so long. Why are you acting like this now?" They used to be pretty close, they even played cricket together when they were younger.

He sigh dramatically rubbing both of his hands on his face and smiled "I'm sorry, i just..." Then he abruptly left the room.

"I'll talk to him later, don't worry." Rea smiles at me and rubbed my back to calm me down. I lean onto her shoulder closing my eyes releasing a sigh.

"So we will take your leave, and rest for the rest of the day, meet you at dinner." My dad said and left followed by my mom and Rea's parents. Me and Reagan just sat on the couch while I hugged her arm and rest my head on her shoulder.

Nadia and Max, Reagans siblings were still stitting there looking at us weirdly.

I nudge Rea who was playing game on her phone and motion her towards them. She looked at them and asked "what are you looking at, creeps?"

Nadia just squint her eyes and Max shook his head and smile at us "You guys are couple goals."

"Thanks" I said shyly leaning more into Reagan. Reagan looks at me and try to free her arm from my hold, I gave her innocent eyes and she gets back to her phone without uttering another word.

Max left us alone with Nadia "How long?" She asked.

"How long what?" Rea reply not diverting her gaze from the phone.

"How long it's all been going on?" She asked explaining her question further looking at me. Oh no what should I tell her.

"Nadia, it doesn't matter now, we want to be together and thats it, end of discussion,why do you always have to make every thing complicated" Reagan answer for both of us. I don't know but Nadia is intimidating me.

She got up and walk toward us and tower over me and said while giving me a terrifying look " like your mother said if you hurt my baby sister I will have YOUR head". I nodeed vigrously. Then she left us alone and I sigh in relief.

"Woah, your sister has changed alot. She was so sweet before"

"She will be back to normal in no time ,the news might have just throw her back a little." She said reassuring me.

"Lets go find you brother, I'll beat his ass." Reagan said getting up from the couch extending her hand for me to take. It feels like we are a real couple and not acting at all. And I kind of like the attention she is giving me and all the sweet gestures.

We went to the house next to ours which Reagan has rented. And went into my brothers room, Reagan knock on the door and open it, Frank was laying on the bed on his phone. When we entered "can I talk to Reagan alone?" He asked looking at me.

I noded "I'll be outside" I said and close the door and stand leaning my ear on the door to hear them talk.

There was a long silence before Frank spoke "How dare you do this to my sister?" He asked angry.

"I didn't do anything she don't want me to do. We are in this together, Frank you know me, I'll never hurt her," Reagan said desperately.

"I know Rea. And I trust you more than I trust myself with her" Oh my brother he love me so much.

"Then what is the problem" pause "talk to me Franky" Reagan said calmly.

"Its going to be hard, hard for her and you to live in this world, people will make your life living hell." He cried. And I feel my own tears start pouring out.

"Oh my little Franky, come here." Reagan said amused. " No one will make our life hell, and if something like that happens , I'll be there for her to protect her from this cruel world. You have my words." Reagan promised.

"I love you Rea, you are like a sister to me and I'm giving you my sister, I know you will take good care of her," he sniffed, I never knew they were this close that he was even crying in front of her.

"And I'm sorry for acting like such an asshole before" they chuckle, "Its alright Franky, now can we go hug your sister, she was really upset." Reagan said and I dashed into the living room acting as if I wasn't eves dropping just a minute ago.

After a minute or two they both came out " where are the others" Reagan asked coming to sit besides me. "In there rooms, resting".

"Faith?" Frank said in a low voice and I get up of the couch and went to him and hugged him real tight "I'm really sorry." He said pitting his chin on the top of my head as I rest my head on his chest.

"I'm happy you are ok with this." I said in his chest, and looked up at him smiling he smiled back and nod.

"Ok I'm going to the office, I have some work to look at, I'll catch you at dinner. She said walking out of the door.

I let go of my brother and rushed after Rea. "Hey wait up!" She stopped and wait for me to reach her.

"Wha-" I cut her off by jumping in her arms,she catch me and herself from falling due to the impact. I wrapped my legs around her waist and my arms around her neck. And whispered in her ear "Thank you so much, Rea." and peck her neck. We stayed like that for a while.

She put me down and look at me closely " Its nothing, Faith" she said almost whispering because we were standing so close, I can feel her breath on my face. She smiled and I really wanted to kiss those lips of hers. She peck my forehead and left. I just stand there staring at her retreating figure.

What is happening? Why do I have those thoughts about her? It's insane.
