Unknown Darkness (2)
Chapter 10.1

Asema

Days turned into weeks and soon to be soon months it was almost becoming end of winter. The snow had melted and I could see patches of grass.

Everyday, I get so worried that I had no idea what to do. Sometimes I was thankful that the maid would be a nanny to Junior and other times I need him when I needed him just for safety. It worried me everyday what could have happened to him. I had no idea how much longer I could hold on for.

I would just be a rag doll to Kieran if I knew that no one would be coming back and the same time something was telling me that I needed hold on a little longer and I don’t know where that came from though.

Another thing that surprised me was that Junior looked like he was one year old already, even though he was only few months old. That confused me a lot, he was walking and babbling and it didn’t really make much sense to me. Till just the other day Kieran pointed out that immortals aging is fast.

Though I couldn’t understand why his eyes were deep green like Wolf’s, so did this mean he had Lycan in him? Kieran also noticed it as well, but I believe he kept quiet to that. Disregarding the truth that he did not have a heir.

Wolf

It was Wolf’s turn to be on guard and watch any source of movement to know if anything happened. Since Wolf saw that he was a father, he commanded any Lycan to watch over the house in their form since he found out about the animal privileges.

Wolf laughed at the thought that Kieran forgot the being a lycan was much different than being an immortal. So, he took the advantages as well being able to plan better about a rescue team.

Wolf rested near the patio under some bushes he was hidden under and if they looked through the bushes he would not be able to be seen giving Wolf a security feeling was nice, not having to worry.

He laid there for a bit with the sound of water in background that turned into a child giggling and heavier footsteps behind. Wolf peered down a little lower enough that the bottom part of his mouth was resting on the cool wet ground.

Coming around the corner was his son skipping and jumping around. Wolf was almost in shock on how big he already was he wasn’t even a year yet and he already was big and acting like one year old.

This frightened him a bit but same time helped him understand the growth and what species his son was. That is if he was a Immortal or Lycan.

Moments later he saw Kieran and Asema walking and somewhat trying to catch up with the boy. Asema with a somber face though there was some light in it at this time, making Wolf think is it because the boy.

Wolf sighed at the thought, he would find out soon enough when they could get his family.

Wolf put his focus on Kieran but knew he couldn’t do anything otherwise it would risk the cover and losing Asema once again.

Kieran was muttering to Asema and it didn’t look like she cared rather she was putting her focus on her the little boy. Wolf bent his ears towards Kieran to listen better.

“You know the town would have been much better, we could have showed him wonders of it.” Kieran little irritated. “Plus, since he has been born you have been hiding him from the public’s view, why is that?” Kieran voice on edge.

Wolf could hear Asema sigh and saw that she was biting her lip.

“Kieran, Junior needs the forest and not concrete towns.” Asema replied, clearly weary of his demanding statements.

Kieran and Asema came to a bench and Kieran forced her to sit down beside him and he put his arm around her. Her body stiff at his touch.

Wolf really had to restrain himself from jumping up at Kieran. In order for that Wolf put his focus on his son and watched him play with the water, rocks and tree branches. That made him smile, a curious boy.

“This is a horrible!” Kieran said.

Wolf snapped his attention back to Kieran, he saw that Asema was annoyed with what he was saying.

“A boy like that should be a nice clean place, not like an animal in the dirt.” Kieran grunted.

Wolf anger was started to boil again. How much longer would he put this off? They need to attack now and get Asema and his son far away as possible. Problem was how on earth were they going to get them? Without having Kieran harm Asema and the boy. Wolf gritted his teeth in frustration.

“Momma I sense animal near” the boy cried out. Though it wasn’t fear of a cry rather it was a cry of joy and excitement.

Wolf stomach dropped down to a pit, he was little bit off on what to do. He couldn’t quite crawl away without making a noise that Kieran would investigate.

Asema on the other hand, since confused but also little bit curious, aside from Kieran who was very much concern. But then he shrugged it off.

“It’s probably just a doe that comes and goes, I saw one this morning so it’s probably the same one.” Kieran said nonchalant.

The boy looked at Kieran then turned to face Wolf in the bushes for second and made eye contact. A brief moment of connection then he was back to playing with water and mud.

After playing and chit chat an hour went, Kieran started to round Asema and the boy up and back into the house they went. Wolf laid there staring off to where they were last seen and thought.

My son, my love, he cannot and will not take them away from me.

Wolf sighed and stretch a little especially his from positioning ending. Then laid back down.

'Commander,'

'Yes sir.'

'We attack tonight have someone watch till then.'

'Yes sir.'

With that Wolf watched Asema window and waited on for that soldier.
