"So, you're willing to forgive me?" Brett asked cautiously, seeing Izabella's softened expression and couldn't help but smile.

"You wish, it's not that easy to be forgiven."

"What exactly is the relationship between you and Kaley?" Izabella asked.

Brett hurried to explain, "There's no relationship between us."

"She likes you," Izabella said very confidently. Kaley's behavior that day was undoubtedly declaring her territory. The seemingly intimate actions left Izabella wondering if they were intentional. Originally, Izabella hadn't thought much about it, but today she got into an argument with Brett. When she mentioned "Kaley", she saw Brett's face stiffen.

Izabella looked at Brett's injuries, suddenly not knowing where to start. She put down the medicine and cotton swabs, " go take a shower first, and then I'll help you apply the medicine." "Alright." Brett, now obedient like a dog, quickly grabbed his clothes and entered the bathroom, coming out in less than ten minutes. Izabella sat on the bed with a cotton swab, lost in thought.

Brett's eyelashes trembled as he carefully watched Izabella's fingers.

He could see her fingers were stiff and not flexible. Even twisting a bottle cap took a lot of effort.

Izabella applied the medicine to Brett's back, "It might hurt a bit, just bear with it."

Brett agreed.

Izabella's hands were weak, so she could only apply the medicine bit by bit. After about ten minutes, her hands were sore and aching. Seeing him stay silent, Izabella suddenly asked, "Brett, were you not nice to me in the past?"
