The purpose of Kaley's call to Brett was simple, to ask him why he left R City without telling her.

Originally, Izabella was supposed to be in a coma for a long time, but she surprisingly woke up soon and lost her memory. Izabella's amnesia was not good news for Kaley. Could amnesia just meant that nothing ever happened?

Kaley bribed a nurse in the hospital, planning to take action at some point, but Brett was always guarding the ward. The person she bribed was told that the patient inside had already been discharged before even entering the room.

"I heard Izabella lost her memory. Are you worried that she'll remember something if she sees me?" Asked Kaley.

"How do you know she has amnesia?" The man's voice suddenly became gloomy, and even through the phone, she could feel the intimidating power.

Kaley gritted her teeth, with her jaw twitching, "not only do I know she has amnesia, but I also know she has stomach cancer."

Izabella's amnesia and stomach cancer were not secrets. Although Brett forced the hospital to seal the news, she could use the same means to find out something if she wanted to.

"If you dare say anything more, don't blame me for not giving you face." Said Brett.

"Brett, I know you don't want Izabella to remember anything. I promise I won't talk about the past in front of her; I just want to be by your side, even if I'm just looking at you from afar."

He sneered, with a cold voice, "Are you threatening me?"
