Chapter 98 

At noon, Alexandra sent Marco a WhatsApp message, asking if he had taken Julian to the hospital. 

Marco did not reply to Alexandra, pretending not to see the message. 

Marco thought, “The longer Mrs. Ranford waits for my message, the more anxious she will be. 

“Then Mrs. Ranford will realize how much she cared about Mr. Ranford,” 

Alexandra did not receive Marco’s message for a while. Thus, she sent Frank a WhatsApp message. 

However, Alexandra didn’t know that Frank and Amadeus fought at the Ranford Tower. After that, Frank and Amadeus went to drink. Therefore, Frank didn’t see Alexandra’s message. 

In the afternoon, Josephine went upstairs to take a nap. 

Alexandra was so nervous that she was unable to sit still. 

Thus, Alexandra ordered a cab on her phone. She sneakily left home and took a cab to the Ranford Tower. 

Marco did not expect Alexandra to be so worried that she would directly come to the Ranford Tower. 

This was Alexandra’s second visit to the Ranford Tower. 

The first time Alexandra came, she and Julian were still strangers. 

The second time Alexandra came there because she was concerned about whether Julian had been injured during the fight. 

It was Sunday. Thus, there were not many people in the Ranford Tower. Alexandra remembered that Julian’s office was on the top floor. 

Therefore, Alexandra did not go to the front desk to consult. Instead, she limped to the elevator and went straight to the top floor. 

Alexandra jumped out of the elevator. Although her feet had recovered better these days, she was in a hurry today and walked a lot. Therefore, at this time, Alexandra’s ankle hurt if her left foot touched the ground. 

However, Alexandra could not care about it. She held onto the white and spotless wall of the Ranford Tower and moved to the CEO’s office. 

Alexandra reached out her hand to knock on the door.

Alexandra jumped inside. However, before she could take two steps, Julian sped up and came over to support her. 

Julian was a little annoyed and frowned at her, asking, “What are you doing here?” 

Alexandra ignored Julian’s questioning. Instead, she stared at his face and asked, “Are you injured?” 

Julian was puzzled and asked, “What injure?” 

Alexandra also frowned and said, “Yvonne’s brother came to the company to attack you. Are you injured?” 

Hearing this, Julian immediately looked at Marco, Marco felt Julian’s gaze was like a knife toward him. 

Marco quickly raised his hands and explained, “Mr. Ranford, I know nothing. I don’t understand it! I’m innocent! It must be Frank! He is a big mouth! Young Madam, I’ll go get you some snacks!” 

After saying that, Marco immediately ran away! 

Marco even closed the door! 

Julian Ranford helped Alexandra to sit on the sofa. He was still a little angry.

Julian thought, “I’m angry at Alexandra for her coming so far to visit me even though her foot hasn’t recovered, I didn’t know how she made it here.

Then they fell silent. 

They just sat there. 

Alexandra regretted her impulsive action of going to the Ranford Tower to visit Julian. 

Julian was wondering why Alexandra’s visit made him feel so touched. He even felt happy. 

It was the kind of happiness that someone always cared about him. 

Marco knocked on the door and brought in two cups of coffee, a fruit platter, and snacks. 

Marco carefully walked over. He was afraid that Julian would kick him out. 

“Mrs. Ranford, have some delicious snacks!” Marco deliberately distanced himself from Julian Ranford and warmly greeted Alexandra, who had 

suddenly appeared, 

Alexandra was indeed hungry. She did not cat much at lunch because she was worried. 

Julian noticed Alexandra was looking at the plate of snacks, so he reached out to pick it up and handed it to Alexandra. Julian said, “Eat something first and rest for a while. We’ll go home after I’m done. Otherwise, when Grandma wakes up, she’ll be anxious”

Alexandra had never shopped at the supermarket since she came to Highclere City!
