Chapter 97 

Amadeus snorted and said, “Don’t play dumb with me! If you didn’t do it, who else could it be? My sister’s friend told me that you used my sister as a scapegoat to cover up for the chick you keep! My sister has a soft personality. When she saw that her information was all over the internet, she felt so humiliated and committed suicide! If anything happens to my sister, I want you and that girl named Alexandra dead!” 

Initially, Julian did not care whatever nasty things he said, but when Amadeus said that he wanted to hurt Alexandra, the veins on the back of Julian’s hands bulged, and a surly look appeared in his eyes. 

Julian left the table and sat on the chair beside him in a languid manner. Crossing his legs, he arched an eyebrow and said, “I’ll do you the favor of telling who leaked your sister’s information online.” 

Amadeus looked up in confusion. His first thought was that Julian was playing tricks on him.. 

Frank walked forward, found the information on the tablet, and held it in front of Amadeus. 

Frank showed him the information of the account that started all this drama at the very beginning and the information of the account that uncovered Yvonne’s personal information. 

Both accounts were created by Martha Connolly. 

When Amadeus saw Martha’s photo, his expression changed and it was noticed by Julian and Frank. 

Amadeus glared at Julian. “Julian! Don’t you try to fool me with such fake information! Miss Connolly is a good person! She is my sister’s most trusted friend!” 

Julian gave him a thin smile that didn’t reach his eyes. “Is she? Are you aware that your sister’s most trusted friend introduced her to the rakish man who knocked her up?” 

“What did you say?” Amadeus asked with his brows knitted. 

Marco rolled his eyes. He had never met someone as stupid as Amadeus. 

He added on behalf of Julian, “What a big fool you are! Mr. Ranford has found out everything, but for the sake of your sister’s reputation, he decided to keep it a secret. The man who made your sister pregnant is called Terrence Castro. He’s the youngest son of the Castro family and a no–good playboy. Terrence is Martha’s cousin. Martha introduced your sister to him. Terrence dumped your sister after he was done with her. Otherwise, why would your sister go get an abortion secretly?” 

“Nonsense!” Amadeus snapped. “You’re full of shit! You’re sowing discord!” 

Julian opened his mouth again. “Why don’t can go back and ask your sister about it? Then you’ll know whether we’re lying or not.” 

Amadeus sneered and said in a sarcastic tone, “Mr. Ranford, do you need me to tell you what everyone in Highclere City thinks of you? Stop framing 

Miss Castro!” 

Although Frank had a good temper and had been quiet all this time, he flared up when Amadeus spoke so rudely to Julian again, 

Without saying anything, he slapped Amadeus hard on his face. 

Amadeus’s fat face was burning with pain. He turned his head and spat on Frank. 

Frank had never been humiliated like that before and slapped Amadeus again. 

Amadeus lifted his foot to sweep Frank off his feet. However, Frank was more agile than him. Not only he dodge, but he also kicked Amadeus’s left knee with the tip of his leather shoe. Amadeus let out a howl of pain. 

Frank shook his wrist and walked to Julian with the tablet. He said unhurriedly, “Boss, I think Mr. Droston needs to be taught a lesson. How do you

Amadeus wriggled his fat body on the chair and cursed. 

The bodyguards behind him immediately went forward and controlled him.. 

Julian stood up/He didn’t want to waste one more second on such an imbecile. He spun on his heels and said to Frank, “He barged into the Ranford Group and attacked me. Teach him a lesson and tell him Terrence’s whereabouts.”

Frank handed the tablet to Marco, and Marco left with Julian. 

As soon as the two of them left, the basement door was closed and the sound of punches and kicks came from inside. 

Marco shuddered just thinking about how much pain those blows would inflict. 

He followed behind Julian and said, “Mr. Ranford, Frank is itching to swing his fists. He must be enjoying himself now.” 

Julian said, “Well, I bet he is.” 

“Bythe way, Mr. Ranford, Amadeus must have caught you unawares. Are you injured?” 

“No.”

“I’m relieved to hear that.” 

Although Julian had said that he was not injured, Marco would not miss out on such a good opportunity to make Alexandra worry about Julian. 

So he secretly sent a message to Alexandra. [Mrs.. Ranford, Mr. Ranford was ambushed by Yvonne’s brother when he came to work today! Marco had already followed Julian back to the office.

Marco stole a glance at Julian to make sure he wasn’t looking before replying to Alexandra. [He probably got some superficial injuries. Alexandra’s anxiety was evident in her text. She wished that she had a pair of wings and could instantly fly to the Ranford Tower to check on Julian herself. 

Marco tried not to grin. He could tell that Alexandra cared about Julian very much. 

She must be worried sick now.

Julian inadvertently saw Marco smiling mischievously at his phone..

Julian felt that he was lying but knew that Marco wouldn’t do anything he shouldn’t do, so he let it be. 

All the posts about Yvonne and Alexandra on the school’s website disappeared overnight. 

Some people noticed that any content containing their names would disappear soon after being posted. It was as if the school’s website had installed some sensitive words filter. 

Some people tried to use initials but they couldn’t get their posts out either. 

Martha was so exasperated. She had planned to enjoy the show for a bit longer but it was put to an end so soon. 

She could only hope that Yvonne’s clueless brother would get back at Alexandra. 

No matter what, she was determined to make Alexandra suffer. 

Alexandra waited anxiously at home for a long time. She wanted to call Julian, but she did not have his phone number. 

She wondered if he had gone to the hospital for a checkup.
