Chapter Six

LUZ’S POV

I woke up to the feeling of someone getting out of my bed, I turned and saw Mark getting his clothing and putting it on. I started to think about why he would be getting dressed, I figured after what happened last night he would stay with me or at least say something before getting out of bed and getting dressed.

“What are you doing” I asked

“Getting dressed and leaving your room” Mark said

“Why, I thought you would at least stay for a little while longer” I said

“Let me make this as clear as I can Luz, I don’t want a mate that hasn’t even shifted yet. My mate has to be strong and be able to shift so she can protect the pack and you are so weak that you haven’t even shifted into your wolf, that’s why I have made up my mind and what I’m going to do I’m doing it for the good of the pack. I, Mark Sanchez future alpha of the Red Moon Pack reject you Luz Florez as my mate and future Luna” Mark said before walking out of my room

I stayed in my room for the whole day just crying my eyes out, I didn’t know what to do or what to say all I did know was that I was still his mate since he didn’t use my full name. Then the only solution popped in my head and that was to call Alex and ask him to come and get me out of here as soon as possible.

“Hey Luz what do I owe this lovely call” Alex asked

“Can you come and take me to live with you and Edward” I asked

“Yeah but why what happened” Alex asked

“He rejected me Alex” I said with tears running down my eyes and my voice cracking at the end

“Who rejected you” Alex asked

“My mate, he rejected me this morning after we mated last night and spent the whole night in each other’s arms” I said

“Oh Luz, I will be there as soon as I can just stay as far away as you can from him okay” Alex said

“Yeah I can do that” I said

“And Luz if you need to talk to anybody call me no matter what time it is okay” Alex said

“Okay” I said

I hung up the phone and got up to go take a shower, when I got out I went into my closet and changed into some new pajamas. I then went back to my room and changed the sheets and put some clean ones. I then placed the dirty sheets in the laundry basket and laid down on my bed once more, I just laid on my side and when I would hear someone come into my room I would pretend to be asleep.

They would leave food and then leave, once they would leave I would eat very little and then I would lay down and close my eyes which would allow me to sleep for a few minutes before waking up and remembering what had happened earlier today. By the time night fell I was still in my bed laying down looking out the window, up to the sky, asking myself why had the moon goddess done this to me, why would she allow me to get hurt this way and to give me a mate that didn’t even allow me to tell him that I had shifted into my wolf when I was ten and that I was a silver wolf.

I got up and went to the window still looking up to the sky I wished my mother was still here with me so she could hold me and tell me that everything was alright, that everything would be okay and no matter what she would be here for me when ever I needed her. I then got a text from Alex asking me how I was doing, I told him I was okay and that I was looking at the moon and stars sitting on my balcony floor. Wishing that mom was still alive and she was holding me right now, we continued to text for a few more hours until I got tired and told him that I was going to bed and that I would text him tomorrow morning when I got up.
