Her phone vibrated about to look at the text. She shifted her head to the right looking through the window. She saw an injured grizzly bear prowling slowly. It was scratched, on the side of its belly and there was a thick piece of antler struck in its right thigh. Bleeding profusely, it fell on the snowy ground before her eyes.

‘What happened to it?’ She questioned.

Instantly, got up and, then she saw a transformation occur as the bear became a human being, to be exact a man.

‘It turned into a guy?’ Suzy muttered surprisingly, ‘Maybe I should get help. No, what if they tried to turn him over to the authorities? I can’t leave him out there or else he’ll die.’

She exited the cabin quickly running towards the trees where the strange man fell. When she arrived at the scene his face was cut up and it was bleeding badly. For some reason, his features got to her.

‘This man looks familiar,’ she thought looking at him a bit closer and realised this handsome stranger was lying in a pool of blood unconscious.

‘I can’t let him die,’ Suzy said gathering her courage. She removed the antler in his thigh as he winced in pain, ‘Sorry. You’re a shifter, aren’t you?’ His groaned told her, he was and then she added, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll protect you.’

She used her scarf to wrap his wound adding pressure to his thigh.

She helped him up placing one of his arms around her shoulders, ‘Alright then, let’s get you warmed up, mister’ and she took him inside of the cabin to rest on the sofa beside the fireplace.

Suzy got the First Aid Kit and started cleaning up his wounds and face. Finally, she recognised the strange man was none other than the owner of the place.

‘Tyler?’ She questioned. ‘You’re a bear shifter? How did you manage to get into this state? Did a deer shifter do this to you? Don’t tell me it’s Roy? Cause if it is I’ll smack him so hard that he won’t even remember a thing.’

Tyler couldn’t speak but a warm smile graced his lips, indicating he could hear her.

He heard Dakota moaned in agony, ‘We don’t have a choice because we need to heal, so claim her...Tyler...’ his voice was fading away as his eyes closed slightly as he thought, ‘Dakota...’

Suzy caressed his cheek and felt him getting colder, ‘Tyler, what’s wrong? Don’t die, please,’ she cried out and hugged him as her tears flowed onto his face.

Her tears carried her bear’s energy and ended up healing him and his bear. Tyler and Dakota began to recover a little strength.

‘It’s now or never,’ Dakota said trying to stand up.

He looked at his bear and remembered if Dakota dies, he dies. He wrapped his arms around Suzy’s waist as she lifted her head, looking at him and he leaned in kissing her and whispered against her lips, ‘Save me, Suzy.’

She was so engrossed in their passionate kiss, completely letting her guard down. ‘I’ll save you, Tyler,’ she muttered and, instantly, her bear’s spirit flashed before her eye teleporting her in spiritual form into her body’s core.

They stood face to face. Her bear was tall and mighty like a queen as she asked, ‘Who are you?’

Her bear smiled, ‘I’m your bear, Crystal. I am the great grizzly queen of this forest; your ancestors made a promise to me to inherit an heir that will be able to stop the shifter’s war in this forest. We need to work together to fulfill the prophecy, Suzy. If you want to save our lovers we have to sacrifice our pureness to heal them.’

Suzy blushed, ‘You mean have intercourse with Tyler?’ and her body danced in joy.

Crystal nodded, ‘Yes, it’s the only way you can heal him and his bear, if you don’t he will surely die from this world.’

Suzy’s breathing stopped and she cried in surprise, ‘I don’t want to him die, Crystal.’

Her bear smiled and she understood her feelings very well for her lover, ‘Then fulfill your duty as queen’ and then she brought her back to reality.

Regaining control of her body, Suzy looked at Tyler who smiled at her with so much love and thought aloud, ‘Let’s find love together...’ and she was absorbed into his taste.

Their clothes came off and, they made love, with each orgasm, Tyler was healed completely. Immediately, they drifted into the mate-shift state, revealing their bears and their human forms in the intercourse process until they marked each other as their own. Sitting against the sofa wrapped in a blanket warming up by the fireplace, they cuddled closer together.

‘Is Roy your friend?’ Tyler asked seriously looking at her with blazing flames in his eyes.

Suzy nodded, ‘Yes, I saved him from dying out there. He’s like family now.’

‘Family?’ Tyler raised his eyebrow. ‘Why do you consider him that way?’

Suzy replied, ‘He’s like an older brother. Is Roy the one who hurt you?’

Tyler didn’t want to answer that but since his girlfriend is kind, he might as well tell her the truth and answered, ‘Yeah.’

Suzy frowned, ‘When I see Roy I’m going to twist his ears again. Why did you two fight?’

‘Again?’ Tyler laughed and could imagine her doing it. Then he got serious, ‘Because of you, Suzy.’

Suzy asked, ‘Me? Roy doesn’t like me and I don’t like him either but I do like you.’

Tyler smiled pulling her onto his thighs, ‘I knew that before you even said it’ and inserted his member inside of her. ‘He just got under my skin and we end up dunking it out. He’s badly injured too.’

‘You two are idiots,’ Suzy replied frowning and wrapping her arms around his neck as he pumped in her as she bounced up and down in pleasure.
