After some rest and having some water I managed make it through out the journey to the Red Clans territory .Sasha had told me that Vera came from this clan and her father was actually the leader of the clan. Apparently Vera was already there as well. I did not want to go there but it was too late now, if only someone had told me about todays full plans. I kept walking trying to keep up with everyone else. Regan the beta had changed into his human form, I realized that he was the completely ginger brown wolf. He walked closer to us this time for some reason.

"The king has already arrived ,prepare yourself. Best you remain silent until it is done" Regan said sternly before walking ahead faster .I did not know what he meant by 'until it is done' but I kept quiet. His tone was not friendly at all, he clearly did not like me. I remember the hard slap he gave to me on my first day.

"do not worry about him, he doesn't like anyone" Sasha rolled her eyes.

I smiled at her , she was really starting to grow on me too. She was always so nice to me and she never made me feel awkward about not belonging. "I guess that only makes me his least favorite" I laughed

"He will get over it besides he is the beta so it is part of his job to protect you. He just doesn't believe you will make it. He is on team Vera but the fact is that the Alpha is already on team Aria. I see the way he acts around you, he can't even resist the mate bond himself" she smirked "I bet if you lose he will still choose you"

She sounded so sure of herself but I did not believe I would survive here If I stayed long. I needed my people to find me as soon as possible. Vera could be the Queen or mate for all I care besides she looked the part. We arrived at a clearing were six wolves let us pass . There were cabins made out of logs and I also spotted a few tree houses . These people were very creative, there were paintings on the cabins and the trees as well using red paint. Most of the people had ginger hair and some had pure red hair. A few had dark hair. I guess this is part of the reason why they were called the red clan.

"Welcome to the red clan" Sasha said watching a few red headed babies chase each other around. They were so cute and adorable. Alaric was holding a cute little baby in his arms with a smile. My eyes widened ,that was the first time I had ever seen him smile like that.

"follow me" Regan said to me and I looked at Sasha

She smiled "follow, it is okay." she nodded her head

I followed Regan silently, we got into a bigger cabin. People sat facing what I assumed were the leaders because Vera was sitting with them. She looked like an angel dressed in a white body hugging dress I could see her amazing model figure. Unlike me she was fit and her hair was the rarest shade of red I have ever seen before. My friend Amara was a red head but her red was dull compared to Vera's hair which seemed like it could possibly glow in the dark.

Lets not even mention her electric blue eyes that were watching my every move. I felt like leaving immediately and telling them she was perfect, she could have it all. Instead I pretended not to notice them watching me as I sat at the back in silence. At least Regan let me choose were I could sit, I guess he also wished I was invisible. Nobody wanted a basic person like myself as a leader.

"she has no chance, that's her?" somebody said in a loud whisper

"a human, impossible. It must be the work of a witch" another said and I sighed. Great just great.

Familiar faces sat behind me and some beside me. The warriors travelling with us, I was kind of glad they were close to me. It felt more comfortable, better to be sitting next to the devils that I know than the devils I didn't know right. Alaric walked in with Sasha and they sat in front with the leaders. He sat next to Vera and honestly it was a 'perfect' match. A match made in heaven to be precise, my stomach felt weird just seeing how right they looked. Why was I being punished by the heavens, I knew I wasn't perfect but now...now I felt like a hood rat.

An older man stood up with a smile "Alpha Rhuaidri of Ragnarak. King of the wolves, A king chosen for us by the moon goddess herself. King to over a hundred territories and still counting. The Red Clan welcomes you with open arms"

The people started cheering and howling for a few minutes .Alaric had a straight face , it was hard to read his emotions. This time he wasn't watching me at all, it was as if I wasn't even there. The older man silenced the people before continuing "We understand that there are a few Kingdoms with leaders that are a threat to the crown . These leaders claim to be the true chosen Kings and some even claim to have the crown. One of these leaders is as we all know your half brother across the sea but we all know you hold the crown. You are the crown!" he shouted

The people cheered again , an older lady with straight long red hair stood up and everyone went silent "These four Kingdoms have made this a game of thrones . Our King rules over six kingdoms , we will show these leaders the misery of losing to a true King!"

The older lady and the man sat down . This time they gave their attention to the King ,the older man spoke " My King we are with you, we understand that you are to choose a mate but also a true female leader for your people. We also understand that you are to choose between our daughter and the human. You have the right to choose who will lead beside you," he said looking at me for a brief second "The first two tests are to be taken here as tradition, we will test the females bravery and their ability to protect. The first test is crucial, protection. We will start with Vera, you will be hunted down and your task is to protect the royal dragon eggs"

"These eggs have been in the Kingdom for centuries under the Kings protection. They symbolize the Kingdoms power. If you fail to protect them then it is clear that you are not ready to protect this Kingdom or the people in it. After Vera the human will take her turn." She stood up watching me. "It will be a fair test, it only requires basic skills. Your strength, your bravery and your willingness to protect. The beta, myself, my mate and Sasha the Kings sister will be part of the people that monitor the process"

"Let the trials begin!" The man said and the eggs were brought in a large golden tray.
