Chapter 630

William pulled a face, "I know, our whispers are too low for the paparazzi to catch a whiff.”

Later, they made their way to the film set, settling quietly in a corner to watch Avery at work. Aurelia and Arnold joined them shortly after.

Arnold and Avery, as major shareholders of Serenity Films, were the producers of the movie, while Aurelia was one of the investors.

Avery was a box office guarantee in showbiz. Any movie he graced was a global sensation, raking in billions.

The paparazzi's gossip-hungry gazes stealthily shifted towards her and Arnold.

Her tangled romances with several elite bachelors could make for a soap opera in itself.

It was juicier than any celebrity scandal, but alas, the Stirling family kept a tight lid on media leaks. Leah brought over coffee, handing it to Aurelia and Arnold.

Smoothies were for William and Skyler.

At the moment, the two were imitating Avery's on-screen moves with surprising accuracy.

Leah let out a snort of laughter, and she never imagined Skyler's first buddy would be William, who was definitely a social butterfly.

Seeing her, William grinned mischievously, "Leah, don't you think Miss Kaley has real chemistry with Uncle Avery?"

Leah pursed her lips, “If she wasn't good, she wouldn't have been cast as the lead actress.”

William made another face, "I think Miss Kaley's got a crush on Uncle Avery.”

Leah noticed Kaley's eyes hadn't left Avery for a second, practically glued to him.

“That's normal. Many girls have a crush on Avery."

When he went on promotional tours, throngs of crazed female fans would faint from excitement. In countries known for their cosmetic enhancements, finding a natural heartthrob in the entertainment industry was like searching for a needle in a haystack.

William, like a little grown-up, clutched his forehead and sighed deeply, “Too many rivals. What can you do, Leah?"

Leah realized he was just teasing her. She lifted her hand and gently pinched his cheek, “Can't this delicious smoothie keep your little mouth shut?"

William stuck out his tonque, "Just a heads-up to keep an eye out. With all these pretty ladies around, it'd be a shame if Uncle Avery fell for one of them.”

Leah was somewhat nervous, “Avery...Avery is focused on his career right now."

Skyler looked at her earnestly, “Leah, why are you stuttering just like me?"

Leah choked back her reply.

"I've got work to do, so I can't play with you guys anymore.” She left with a pout.

Skyler scratched his head, "William, you don't think the leading lady really likes Avery, do you? That would make Leah sad.

William clapped him on the shoulder, "Don't worry. Uncle Avery only has eyes for Leah. He's the model of virtue, like Sir Galahad.”

"Who's Sir Galahad?"

"He's a very noble character.”

"OK: Not far away, Aurelia was discussing Lisa with Arnold.

"Arnold, are you really going to divorce Lisa?"

Arnold gave her a deep, meaningful look, his eyes conveying volumes. "Don't you want me to get a divorce?"

Aurelia sighed inwardly. “Actually, I think Lisa is quite nice. Sure, she tricked you, but her love for you is genuine.”

"I can't live with a liar’ Arnold said decisively, without a hint of hesitation. If it weren't for Lisa, he would never have lost Aurelia.

"What about the child? The child is innocent, and he's your child. Can you really bear to let him grow up in a broken home?"
