Chapter 321

He knew he had missed out on his chance with Aurelia. But as long as he didn't let her go, there was still a glimmer of hope to get her.

“You know I never back down.”

Arnold was uneasy, afraid that Aurelia would be together with Leopold. Because he knew Aurelia did have a thing for Leopold although she denied it.

"Aurelia isn't a trophy. As long as you're willing to divorce, no matter the terms, I can agree.” Leopold was firm and said, “I just want my wife, either you bow out gracefully, or I'll see you out.” Arnold took a deep breath and replied, “The one to leave won't be me.” He turned and walked out. William watched from the window as Arnold left. He wanted to go home, so he dialed Kane's number, “Kane, when do we switch back? I miss Mom and Dad.”

“Tomorrow, meet me at the amusement park.”

"Okay."

Kane hung up and came out of his room, hugging Aurelia, “Mom!” Aurelia stroked his head and asked, “What's wrong, sweetie?”

Kane wanted to tell her he was going back to his dad's, wanted to ask if she would come to see him, but he couldn't utter a word. These words could only be kept in his heart.

“Can I sleep with you tonight?”

“Sure.” Aurelia lovingly kissed his cheek.

Kane felt sad. He was also her child, but she didn't want him or his father anymore.

He thought, “Dad must be upset now, and he needs me, so I have to go back to be with him, otherwise, he will drink alone again, until he has to be hospitalized for a stomach

bleed.”

After Aurelia went downstairs, he went back to his room and fed his pet bird, Chirpy, a mealworm. “I have to go, Chirpy, William will be back tomorrow.”

Chirpy tilted its head and looked at him, “Kane!” It had gotten used to him, accepted him.

Kane extended his little finger and touched its head, “Goodbye, Chirpy, I'll come back to see you.” 1/2

The next day, Kane went to the amusement park, and soon William arrived. The two boys dodged their respective bodyguards and sneaked into the restroom.

Kane quickly took off his mask and put it on William, “Mom said, you can't let others see your face, so you must always wear the mask.”

"Okay, I got it.” William nodded, “I'll tell you a secret. My dad is your dad's brother, no wonder we look alike, and we even have the same last name.”

After his dad left yesterday, he secretly asked Laura and found out this secret.

Kane blinked, “I look like my dad, and you look like my dad too, could it be possible that my dad is your real dad?”

William made a face and said, “I don't like your dad because your dad is too boring. He doesn't know how to play games, take photos, or cook tasty food. He doesn't know anything. I only like my dad, and he’s always my real dad.”

William loved his dad the most, and he would never leave him.

Kane didn't think his dad was boring. It was because Mom left that he was always down. And William, who was much younger than him, couldn't possibly be his twin brother, he could only be his half-brother.

“We'll keep in touch through our watches.”

“Okay.” William nodded.

When Kane returned to the Stirling Mansion, Leopold was in the study, having just poured a glass of whiskey.

Kane immediately ran over, grabbed his glass, and poured the drink into the trash can, “Dad, you can't drink anymore. If you ruin your stomach, how are you going to win Mom

back?”

Leopold was taken aback, looking at his son with a serious expression, “Kane...”

Kane held Leopold's hand and asked, “Dad, let's try our best together, and we can surely bring Mom home.”
