Anne sighed and pulled Sarah to sit down next to the bed. "There are still two hours before eight. Why didn't you sleep?"

"I can't sleep..."

"There's nothing we can do right now. We are bound to run into Dorothy and Bianca later. There are still two hours left. At least get an hour of sleep. Sleep here!” Anne got out of bed.

"I am not sleeping.”

"Mom!" Anne's expression darkened. "You need to take care of yourself. When Dad wakes up, he's going to be upset with me if I fail to take care of you.”

Tears welled up in Sarah's eyes as she took Anne's hand. "Anne. What should we do if your dad never wakes up?"
