Chapter 1102

Bianca was about to head back into her room and just before she could close her door, a hand reached out and when Bianca turned around, the door flew open before her eyes.

“Ah!” Taking another blow to her injured hand, Bianca looked up at Anne viciously.” Anne Vallois, are you crazy?! Do you know how much my hands are worth? I have them insured. Are you sure you can afford to hurt me?”

Anne raised her hand and started beating Bianca with her cane.

“Ah!” Bianca darted away. “Anne Vallois, stop! Anne! Ugh!”

The second blow followed immediately and Anne did not stop until Bianca collapsed onto the ground.

Bianca's wails echoed inside the room as Anne stood before her. “I know that you caused what happened today. You deserve this.”

Bianca struggled to get up and moved to slap Anne across the face, but Anne swiftly held the end of the cane against Bianca's chest, efficiently stopping her from approaching.

Bianca came to a realization as she looked into Anne's eyes. “You got your vision back?”

"All thanks to you.” Anne stared back coldly.

'So not only are they not severely injured, Anne got her vision back because of what I did? Bianca thought. “I even got slapped in the face by Anthony, and I'm not getting anything out of this? No. No way. Anne suffered. She was in pain. What I did was worth something!

"Why are you blaming me? Even Anthony didn't think it's my fault. Do you think I would be able to stand here if he thought otherwise?” Bianca questioned sharply, determined to make Anne suffer. Anne tightened her grip on her cane and took a deep breath to ease the pain in her chest.

“You know that you are responsible for this, and my dad's death!”

“Come back when you convince Anthony that!” Bianca was not worried at all.

Anne put her cane away wordlessly and turned to leave, only to realize that Anthony had been standing behind her.

After losing her eyesight for a while, the sudden sight of Anthony had caught her off- guard and she was shaken.

“It's no wonder that I didn’t see him around when I woke up,’ she thought. “So he’s been here with her all along.”

Anne struggled to catch her breath at the irony and looked away from Anthony's eyes, before marching past Anthony.

Anthony tensed.

He noticed something odd when he met Anne's eyes, but only confirmed that she could see again until she walked past him easily.

Anne straightened her back as she walked away and heard Bianca shouting,” Anthony, you need to go after Anne!”

Not wanting to stay for another second, Anne took off running, but was grabbed by the arm before she could leave.

"Anne!"

Anne lowered her head to stare at Anthony's hand on her arm, his strong, big hands were precisely what had been keeping her in this hell. She looked up and met his dark, brooding eyes. “I can see again. I don't need your help. Let go.”

“I'll send you home.”

She pulled away, but failed to escape his grip. “Anthony Marwood!”

“I'm going home now. Let's go.” Anthony tensed and dragged her along.

Anne was dragged out of the hospital and into the car headed for the Royal Mansion.

She sat as close to the door as possible quietly with her cane in hand.
