Chapter 1101

"You were supposed to protect them!” Anthony roared, his presence suffocating.

Ivan lowered his head. “I'm sorry, Mr. Marwood. This is my mistake.”

He had not expected Bianca and Meredith to be famous to an extent that people. would surround them like zombies.

“This will be the last time!”

“Yes, sir!"

Anthony turned and headed to the room next door to check on Charlie.

Charlie was sitting on his bed and staring at the bandage on his forehead through his reflection on a mirror, before declaring bravely, “It's not painful! I didn't have my knife just now, or I would have beaten them all!"

Chris and Chloe stayed close to him and cheered him on

Seeing how energetic Charlie seemed, Anthony knew that he was going to be fine.

“Papa!” Chris and Chloe spotted Anthony and called out in unison.

Anthony walked over to the bed and noticed that Charlie was batting his eyes dazedly at him "What's wrong? Don't you recognize me?” Anthony looked at him gently.

"I...I recognize...you.” Charlie felt the sudden urge to cry, but managed to hold back his tears with a sniffle.

Anthony took a piece of tissue paper to wipe Charlie's nose. “Breath.”

Charlie blew his nose with all his might and the tissue paper came close to flying off. Once he blew his nose, he asked with a flushed face, “Where's Mama? Why isn't Mama here?”

The children were still unaware that their mother had fainted.

“Your mom is sleeping. You three need to go home first,” Anthony said.

The triplets assumed that Anne was sleeping at home and went into the car obediently. Chloe poked her head out of the window and asked, “Papa, are you not coming?”

“I'm busy with something else. You guys go ahead.” Anthony pressed her head back into the car and rolled the car window up, before watching the car take off.

Meanwhile, Anne's lashes trembled as she was about to wake up. Shortly after, she slowly opened her eyes and felt uncomfortable when the lights entered her eyes.

“Mrs. Marwood, are you awake?” The nurse came over.

Anne turned her face to the direction of the sound and scowled as the image of the nurse's face slowly became clear.

Anne stared at the nurse dazedly with disbelief. She closed her eyes and opened them again, realizing that she could still see the nurse's face. She turned around and scanned the room, taking in every detail along with the cane resting next to the bed.

Anne sat up and grabbed the cane, excited beyond words.

“Mrs. Marwood, where are you going? Mr. Marwood will be back soon.” The nurse thought that Anne wanted to leave.

Absorbed in the joy of having her eyesight back, Anne could not hear a single word the nurse was saying.

“I can see now,’ she thought. ’l can see my children. I can see everything. I can do whatever I want and go anywhere I want now."

Anne was overjoyed, but soon remembered her children and asked worriedly, “Where are my kids? Where are they?”

“They went home?”

“Home?”

“Yeah. They are all fine and have left the hospital.” The nurse felt slightly confused as she stared into Anne's eyes, wondering why it seemed as though Anne could see.

Soon, her question had been answered when Anne got out of bed and headed out with her cane in hand.

She hurried outside and spotted Bianca talking to the nurse when she walked past the reception. Bianca was about to be discharged and was submitting her documents.
