Chapter 763 A Family?

The word "family" sounded particularly sarcastic.

Abbot lowered his head to look at the man on the ground, his stern look carrying a hint of mockery.

"A family? Are you sure?"

The man trembled and said, "Yes, yes. Abby, your father often says that blood relationship is very important. I'm sorry I'm obsessed and did wrong things."

Before the man could finish speaking, Abbot grabbed the man's hair and forced him to look at him.

The man let out a scream, his face turning red.

Abbot slapped him on the face and said, "Uncle, you're really good at betraying."

"I call you uncle. But don't think you're a big shot."

The expression on the man's face froze.

Abbot added, "If it weren't for my father's kindness, how could I call you uncle?"

The man gritted his teeth, not speaking.

After staring at the man for a moment, Abbot released him and walked over to sit next to Colin.

Colin chuckled lightly, "All the betrayers have been dealt with, except this relative. What do you want to do with him?"

Abbot leaned back on the sofa and whispered, "Kill him."

Colin knew that Abbot was not serious and joked, "Okay, since that, I'll let Andy do it now."

Abbot didn't speak.

They looked at each other for a moment. Abbot cursed, looking sidelong at the man on the ground, and said, "Give him another beating. Don't kill him. Hit wherever it hurts." Andy winked at the two bodyguards guarding the door.

The bodyguards nodded and walked in. The man was pressed down and was beaten severely.

Half an hour later, Abbot said "stop", with a cigarette between his lips.

The man was battered to a pulp.

Curling up on the ground, he took a breath and then spat blood on the ground. "I, I want to see Mr. Carter," he cried out.

Colin narrowed his eyes and said, 'You didn't hit him hard enough."

Abbot took down his cigarette and snuffed it out, coldly saying, "Andy, you beat him."

Hearing that, the man struggled up with his head on the ground. Kneeling on the ground, the man constantly begged for mercy.

"Abby, I won't do it again. Please spare me."

"Don't call me uncle. I don't deserve it!"

"Mr. Carter, please spare me."

Abbot's temperament was well-known in Cocanel.

He appeared careless on the surface, but in reality, he was ruthless.

The man dared not speak when he saw Abbot's murderous look.

Looking at the man, Abbot flicked his cigarette butt away. "Coward, I can't believe you dare to usurp the throne."

The man was too scared to look up, tears streaming down his face.

Abbot said, "Andy."

"Mr. Carter."

Abbot coldly said, "According to Mr. Farrell's style, get rid of him."

Andy respectfully said, "Okay, Mr. Carter."

Colin stood up without even looking at the man on the ground and left the office with Abbot.

At the parking lot...

Abbot leaned against the driver's seat, closing his eyes. Colin was slightly tired, his right hand rubbing his temples.

About two minutes later, Abbot opened his eyes and breathed a long sigh of relief. "I'm worried about what my dad will say when he knows it."

Colin chuckled. "Don't worry. Your dad is a reasonable man."

Abbot said, "I've never seen anyone who treats relatives better than him."

Colin joked, "Is this his characteristic?"

Abbot put his hands behind his head, saying "Probably." Abbot started the car.

An hour later, Abbot drove Colin back to Fennth Community and returned to Rebecca's apartment.

Just as Abbot parked the car, he saw Benjamin standing not far away.

Abbot stared at Benjamin through the car window for a moment. He got out of the car and walked to Benjamin.

Benjamin looked tired. "You're back."

Abbot nodded.

Benjamin asked, "Is it done?"

Abbot had to truthfully say, "I've dealt with all the betrayers."

Abbot had thought Benjamin would get angry. But Benjamin patted him on the shoulder, saying earnestly, "You've grown up."

When children grew up, it meant that their parents were getting old.

Abbot said with a frown. "Dad."

Benjamin put his hand around Abbot's shoulders and chuckled lightly. "Son, since you've done the thing, why are you afraid of me getting angry?" Abbot said, "That's two different things."

Benjamin smiled. "Which is more important?"

Abbot remained silent for a moment and then said, "It's important to get rid of the pests in the company, but I'm even more afraid you'll get angry with me." Benjamin raised his eyebrows. "Son, after this incident, you've been more witted."

Abbot asked, "So, dad, are you angry with me?"

Benjamin pinched Abbot's shoulder and said with a wry smile, "Of course, how can I not be angry?"

Abbo was silent.

Benjamin continued, "But I'm not angry with you. I'm angry with myself. I've lived for so many years, but I had been teased by those people."

Upon hearing Benjamin's words, Abbot looked down at the ground. "It's not your fault."

Benjamin smiled and didn't speak.

The distance from the parking lot to the house was only 300 meters. But it took them half an hour tonight.

Finally, Benjamin said seriously, "You take over the company. I want to retire and take your mother on a global trip."

Abbot stood still. "So suddenly?"

Benjamin said, "I had this plan long ago. I'm just worried about the company and you. Now..."

He had nothing to worry about.

He thought, "I should give him a free hand. Youngsters can do better than me."

The father and son chatted downstairs for a long time. Finally, Abbot looked at Benjamin and smiled, "Dad, I suddenly understand why Colin and Ethan envy me."

Benjamin was puzzled. "What do they envy you for?"

Abbot said, "They envy me for having a good family. Colin and Ethan are different. Colin's family relationship is complex, and Ethan has gone through hardships, as if he's walking on thin ice." Benjamin smiled. "Lucky for them, they haven't become bad people."

Abbot said, "They are still not as good as me now."

Benjamin nodded. "That's right. They're not as cheeky as you."
