In the evening, when Benjamin and Abbot returned, Camila and Rebecca were cooking in the kitchen.

Camila didn't personally cook a table of dishes for many years. She was busy but delighted to see this warm scene.

Listening to the beep sound, Rebecca let out a long sigh.

A few minutes later, Rebecca's phone vibrated.

It was a message from Cecilia. "You and Abbot live separately at night. Let him sleep on the sofa. Or his parents will look down upon you." Seeing the message, Rebecca smiled and texted, "Mom, are you not angry anymore?

Cecilia texted, "What's the use of being angry?"

Rebecca texted, "Mom, I love you."

Cecilia texted, "Stop it. You made the decision yourself. Don't go home to cry in the future."

Rebecca put away her phone and stood at the window, overlooking the night view.

Rebecca turned around and saw Abbot standing at the door with his hand on the doorknob.
