My Fair Stunner novel (Faye and Colin)
Chapter 460 Treacherousness

Chapter 460 Treacherousness

Maxwell was in the hospital for a review when receiving Colin's call.

Hearing Colin's voice, he smirked, "Colin, what's up?"

Colin sneered and asked bluntly, "Do you want your pawn Nylah?"

Maxwell said, "She is useless now. If you think she is an eyesore, you can get rid of her."

Colin sneered, "Are you sure?"

Maxwell replied, "She is just a pawn instead of my woman."

When big shots fought, their attacks were fatal. But the people who died were not themselves.

Maxwell paused for a few seconds and then provocatively said, "I will choose a woman like Faye who is not only beautiful but also smart."

Colin mocked, "I'm afraid you will not be so lucky."

Maxwell replied, "How do you know? I haven't given it a shot yet?"

Colin sneered, "Are you courting death?"

Maxwell said, "What's the point of living if I can't marry my beloved woman? You should understand this kind of feeling the best."

When Maxwell finished speaking, the doctor who was examining him said respectfully, "Mr. Camden, the examination is completed. You need more time to recover. I still recommend that you stay in bed as much as possible."

Hearing this, Maxwell responded emotionlessly, "Thank you."

After he finished speaking, Colin said on the phone with a half-smile, "Maxwell, are you in the hospital?"

Maxwell asked, "Why do you want to know where I am? Are you coming to pick me up?"

Colin replied calmly, "I don't have time now, but I can ask Abbot to pick you up."

Then, he sneered, hung up the phone, and made a call to Abbot.

Abbot had not slept last night and had driven back to Cocanel at five this morning, so he was in a bad mood.

Hearing Colin asking him to go to the hospital to deal with Maxwell, he gritted his teeth and said, "I'll bring a wheelchair to meet that bastard."

Colin said, "Calm down. Don't kill him."

Abbot replied, "Don't worry."

Hanging up the phone, Colin looked up at Lance and said solemnly, "I originally planned to deal with this matter after a while. But since you are in a hurry, I will do it right now." Lance was stunned to hear his words and then smiled, "Thank you!"

Colin chuckled, "You're welcome. We are family, after all."

Abbot was vigorous and resolute.

As soon as hanging up the phone, he went to buy a wheelchair and headed for the hospital with a few bodyguards.

As soon as they arrived at the gate of the hospital with the wheelchair, he bumped into Maxwell on crutches.

Abbot bit a cigarette between his teeth, deliberately scanned Maxwell with his eyes, and said with a smile, "Maxwell, why are you alone?"

When Maxwell saw Abbot and his subordinates, he didn't flinch at all but said, "Is your arm okay now?"

Abbot moved his arm and smiled, "Young people are quick in recovering."

Maxwell sneered, glanced at the wheelchair pushed by a bodyguard, raised his eyebrows, and said, "Is the wheelchair for me?"

Abbot said, "Of course."

He then glanced at Maxwell's unwounded leg and said, "You still have one unwounded leg. So, it is not suitable for you to use a wheelchair, right?"

Maxwell understood his implication, so the look in his eyes suddenly turned cold.

Abbot looked around and said meaningfully, "There are a lot of people here. Can you cooperate with me? Let's go to a quieter place."

Maxwell said gloomily, "Abbot, you are courting death."

Abbot stepped forward, leaned over to look into his eyes, and said, "The fortune teller told me that I can live to ninety-nine. But I knew you are short-lived at first glance." Then, he added, "Don't worry. Since you are Colin's uncle, I will attend your funeral."

After Abbot finished speaking, he straightened up, turned his head back, and winked at the bodyguards behind him.

The bodyguards took his hint, stepped forward, held Maxwell's arms, and forced him into the car.

Later, Abbot also got in the car and sat in the passenger seat. Then, he turned his head back, rolled his eyes at Maxwell, and teased, "Is there any place you like in Cocanel?" Maxwell looked at him with a gloomy face in silence.

Abbot said, "If you don't choose, I will choose one. Originally, I wanted to let you choose a place you like so that you can feel better when your other leg is broken." Maxwell said, "Let me see how capable you are."

Abbot took the cigarette out of his mouth and sneered, "No hurry. You'll see it soon."

Then, he turned his head ahead, leaned back in the seat, lowered the window, and flicked the cigarette out with his fingers.

After the car ran for a while, Maxwell looked at the back of his head and said, "Everyone says you, Colin, and Ethan are best friends. But I think you're like their dog." Abbot looked at him in the rearview mirror and smiled disapprovingly, "Feel free to say as many more words as you can. I'm afraid you won't have a chance to say anything later." When Maxwell glanced out the car window and found that they had left the downtown area, he smiled mockingly, "Do you think I would go out alone before my leg recovers?"
