Chapter 389 The Audiences and the Actors

Chapter 389 The Audiences and the Actors

When Colin Farrell finished his words, Maxwell Camden chuckled.

Colin turned his head and glanced at him, with his eyes full of coldness.

Maxwell rubbed a white jade ring on his thumb thoughtfully and smiled provocatively, "Are you afraid of hurting your wife?"

Colin squinted his eyes, and the anger beneath his pretended calmness was visible, "How much did Brandon Farrell pay for your insurance? You're so unabashed"

Maxwell, "I don't have any insurance. Brandon also told me that you were the last person in the Farrell family to be provoked."

Colin sneered, "Then you are quite rebellious."

As the two of them facing each other and were about to fight, Faye Nash got out of the car and said softly, "Honey."

Hearing this, Colin touched the back of his teeth with his tongue, gave Maxwell a warning stare, turned around and walked towards Faye.

Colin's anger hadn't faded yet. Faye pursed her lips and entwined her fingers with his.

Colin widened his eyes slightly and looked down at Faye.

Faye looked up, "Let's go in. I'm hungry."

Colin clenched Faye's hand tightly, "Fine."

The two passed by Maxwell hand in hand, and Maxwell looked at them with an unclear eye expression.

As they passed through the yard and were about to enter the hall, Colin asked with a low smile, "Were you worried that I would hit him?"

Faye said without change her expression, "Yes."

Colin, "Don't worry, I'm not that stupid."

Faye, "Brandon Farrell hasn't shown up until now. Maxwell Camden doesn't mean anything. It's not necessary to get angry with him, because maybe he's not even a small potato." Colin raised the hand entwined with Faye's and kissed the back of her hand, then answered in a low voice, "Well, I understand."

In the living room of the Farrell's house, the atmosphere was frozen.

Blaine Farrell and Tiffany Shaw sat on their own without talking to each other. They hated to see each other.

Several servants were standing in the corner, and they were so nervous that they didn't even breathe heavily.

When Colin and Faye came in, one of the servants stepped forward and handed them slippers.

Faye thanked the servant and bent over to change her shoes.

Seeing them, Tiffany sitting on the sofa was the first to say hello, "Colin and Faye, welcome home." Colin, "Mom."

Tiffany got up with a smile and asked the servant to prepare the fruit bowl.

After Faye changed her shoes, Tiffany was close to her.

Tiffany held Faye's arm affectionately, and asked with concern, "You didn't have a good rest recently, did you? It seems that you've lost weight." Gallantry always came with a purpose.

Especially in the Farrell family, people never cared for others for no reason.

Faye said with an alienated smiled, "I'm fine."

Tiffany didn't mind Faye's alienation at all, and continued, "I heard about the news of that celebrity. Don't take it too seriously. It is her fate." Faye, "Huh."

Tiffany took Faye's arm and walked towards the living room. After a few steps, she stopped, looked back at Colin, and said with a motherly smile, "Sorry, I've been talking to Faye but ignored you." Colin smiled in a deep voice, "You two are congenial."

The acting skills of the Farrells could make some professional actors feel inferior.

Luckily the servants of the Farrell family had been working here for many years and were long used to it. If there had been two new staff, they would have been shocked.

The interaction among Tiffany, Colin and Faye was caught clearly by Blaine Farrell sitting on the sofa.

Blaine pulled a long face. After sitting there for a while, he got up and left.

The moment Blaine went up to the second floor, Maxwell walked in from outside.

Seeing Maxwell, Tiffany's expression changed, and she greeted him with an unnatural expression, "Hello, Maxwell."

Maxwell, "Sister-in-law."

Tiffany laughed awkwardly, "Blaine and I have divorced, so I'm not your sister-in-law anymore."

Maxwell raised his eyebrows, "Then can I call you sister?"

Tiffany smiled awkwardly and didn't answer.

Maxwell looked younger than Colin. Seeing him calling Tiffany sister in a frivolous tone, outsiders would think that he was flirting up with Tiffany.

When she met Maxwell in the elevator earlier that day, Faye didn't look at him carefully.

After taking a careful look at him, Faye noticed that Maxwell and Colin actually had many similarities.

For example, both of them liked hiding a dagger behind a smile.

For another example, both of them were unruly.

The difference was that Colin looked unrestrained while Maxwell were more bohemian.

The former was attractive while the latter led to degeneration.

The atmosphere in the living room was awkward for a moment, and Tiffany said to break the deadlock, "Colin and Faye, you haven't met Maxwell, right? He's the youngest son of your third grandfather. According to your seniority, you should call him uncle."

Colin said casually,

"Uncle."

Maxwell chuckled and looked not punctilious at all, "We are about the same age, so just call me by my name."

Colin mocked and wanted to say something. Glancing down at the bell on his wrist, he smiled and kept silent.

There would certainly be a big show in the Farrell family this day, and the audiences and actors were the same group of people.

Maxwell walked to the single sofa aside and sat down. As soon as he was seated, York Blake strode down from the second floor to Colin and leaned over, "Colin, Old Mr. Farrell asked to see you."
