CHLOE’S POV**** 

I sat still on the large armchair while I watched Ashley getting her makeup done and all I was left with was a shabby gown as my wedding dress while Mother hired the best makeup artist for Ashley. 

I tried searching for my n*ecklace, but there was no trace of it anywhere. According to Father, I was wearing it when he first found me and I wouldn’t let anyone touch it. I knew that it was special to me, but now I lost it on a stupid drunken night. 

The door swung open and Mother stepped in, a bright smile on her face that she could not wipe 

off. 

“Oh, mine! My daughter looks so pretty that I can barely recognize her, today is a special day and I can’t wait to start addressing you as my Luna, once the wedding is over, the marking ceremony will commence at once and then you will fully belong to Alpha Noah” 

Mother carefully explained it to her with so much pride on her face, it was the dream of every mother in the pack to see their daughters get married to someone as great as Alpha Noah, but despite how much the Lycan king was feared by everyone, no one wished it upon

door swung open and a tall masculine figure with a full broad chest stepped in.

“Wow, he is so handsome,” Ashley whispered to Mother as they both drifted backward. 

“Who is he?” My mother whispered to Ashely as she stared down at his domineering figure from head to toe. I lifted my head to gaze at the strong arm that hauled me up and was surprised to see my one–night stand which I had forgotten about.

“Yes me dear, are you hurt?” He asked while ascertaining my b*dy for any bruises, just then the door swung open as a strange face stepped along my father. 

“Your majesty, everything is set!” 

“Your majesty?” Ashley called out while she stared at her mother, perplexed. 

“Beta Raymond, is this the way my Luna to be is been treated, forced to knee before someone that is far below her status” 

“What…. I am sorry your Majesty, I wasn’t aware of it, but I assure you that it won’t happen again” 

“He is the Lycan king!!” Mother called out, her eyes popped out wide and she immediately went to 

her knees. 

“Your majesty, what you just witnessed was a misunderstanding. Chloe is my daughter and I will never do anything to hurt her” 

“Why don’t I believe you, Gemma Aiden, set up for all the necessary rites, I need to take my Luna out of here as soon as possible” He wrapped his arm around my waist and tugged me closer to him, although I wanted to resist, but the fury and jealousy in Ashley’s eyes was enough satisfaction while. I let myself enjoy the moment before my death. 

“I am sorry Your Majesty, the Alpha is setting up everything required for the rites to begin, I think that the both of you should head over to the ancestral hall” My father explained but he did not dare look at the king in his eyes, his hands trembling just at the presence of this man with a domineering figure, but he did not show it out. 

He held my hand and we both stepped out of the mansion. Once we were out of this place that I have always called home, I heaved a sigh of relief feeling like I had just been released from a dungeon.

you alright?” He asked with his eyes piercing at me, I nodded my head and did not dare look him in the face, not because I was afraid of him at that moment, but because I was too shy to face him after how shameless I was with him the other night, losing my virginity with no care at all and not realizing that it was the beast everyone was so afraid of.
