Sam woke and CJ was not in bed so she got up, threw on his shirt and went downstairs and found him making breakfast. Sneaking up behind him she put her arms around his waist, her lips going to his back and kissed him. “Morning.”

He turned around, pulling her close. “Morning beautiful. Did you sleep well?”

Placing her hands behind his head, her eyes locked with his. “I’m sorry for falling asleep. I know you had a special night planned for us. I hope you can forgive me.”

“It’s alright baby, we have our whole lives together. You hungry?”

“Yes, but not for food,” she said, her lips going to his neck.

He felt the blood flowing through his veins to his cock as it grew hard. Reaching behind him he turned off the burners. Lifted her up onto the table and undid the buttons on her shirt that she had on till her breasts were exposed, he moved his mouth down over her breasts. Moving lower he started kissing the inside of her thigh. With a sweep of his hand, he knocked everything off the counter, the plates falling and breaking as they hit the floor. Laying her down his mouth moved over her as he managed to remove his pants.

She cried out in pleasure when he entered her, the brutal strength of his passion left her breathless and wanting more. When he was done he looked into her eyes and she saw the depth of the love he had for her in them. She ran her hands over his broad shoulders, wrapping her legs around him, holding him tightly. She didn’t want to let him go, she wanted to stay this way forever.

CJ chuckled. “Baby, you have to let go now.”

“I don’t want to, this feels so good having you inside me.”

“It feels good being inside you too but we have to clean this mess up and have something to eat. I promised to help Dad out mending a fence and you are getting together with Mom and Dakota to discuss the wedding plans.” He too could have stayed that way all day, but it could prove embarrassing if someone were to walk in.

As they drove over to the Fisher’s ranch CJ kept his hand on her knee, he liked the feeling of her skin and slid it up her thigh. He stopped halfway when she gave him a stern look. Oh, she knew him too well, knowing where this was headed. With a smirk on his face, he glanced her way. “We could pull over and have a quickie.”

“Just never you mind CJ, keep driving.”

The kids came running out and jumped into CJ’s arms, getting their treats from him and took off running before Dakota or Parker could stop them. The men went to work and the women went inside to start the wedding plans. Dawn had bought several magazines on dresses and other things to do with planning the perfect wedding.

Dinner was served when the men came in, later they sat around and the kids were spending the night and were put to bed.

Sam sat between CJ’s legs on the sofa, his arms around her. “Your mom says we can have the reception here as Parker and Dakota had. We decided on the flowers and the menu, now all we need is a date.” She looked back at him, her eyes sparkling.

“The sooner the better,” he answered, kissing her. “How about next weekend?”

She looked at him, shocked. “CJ, that’s not enough time to arrange everything. We still need to book the church.”

“CJ,” Dawn spoke up. “Stop teasing Sam and set a date.”

He hugged Sam close, nuzzling her neck. “Mom’s right, I’m teasing you. I would like for us to be married one year from the first time I saw you in the diner.”

“That’s three months from now,” she said, smiling at him. “I think that would be perfect.”

Parker jumped to his feet and holding up his glass toasted them. “It’s settled then, three months from now.” He stared at CJ. “You know I expect to be your best man.”

CJ moved from behind Sam and standing up went over to Parker. “You got it bro, but just so you know I’m the best man.”

Parker held his gut and laughed. “You wish.”

The others sat back, shaking their heads when the two started wrestling.

“Those two will never grow up,” Dawn said with a shake of her head, looking at Sam and Dakota who were both laughing.

Three weeks before the wedding: Sam, Dakota, and Dawn went for the final fitting of their gowns. Dakota was going to be wearing a strapless blue bridesmaids gown, Dawn picked out a long green dress. Sam chose a simple long strapless white dress and when she tried it on the other two smiled.

“Oh my, you look so beautiful,” Dawn said, wiping her tear away. “CJ is going to be blown away when he sees you.” Dawn couldn’t be any happier with the choice her son made when he fell in love with Sam. Sam was good for him and they loved each other with all their hearts.

After the final touches were done they went back to Sam’s and CJ’s place where the men were waiting with the kids.

“A parcel arrived for you baby,” CJ said, handing her a small box and a letter.

“Looking at the postmark squealed happily. “It’s from my mom.” She ripped open the letter and read it out loud. My dearest daughter. I am happy that you have found love with a man who will truly love and respect you. I’m writing this letter with great regret. I’m afraid your father and I can not make it to your wedding. Your dad has had a bad fall and broke his hip. Do not worry, he is strong and will recover. Know that we love you and have you in our hearts. Here is something for you to wear on your special day. It belonged to your grandmother. All our love, Mom and Dad.

Sam turned quiet. “They can’t make it. I know it’s not their fault but I was so wanting them to meet all of you. I wanted my dad to walk me down the aisle. He was hurt when I married Jonathan at the courthouse.”

CJ took her hand in his. “I’m sorry Sam.”

Dawn and Calvin Sr. stole a glance at each other before he went over, squatting down in front of her. “I know I’m not your real father but I would be honoured to walk you down the aisle. That is if you want me to.”

She threw her arms around him, hugging him. “Thank you so much, I would love that.”

“So what’s in the box?” CJ asked.

“Well, let’s find out,” she said and tore off the wrapper and opened the velvet box. Inside was a pearl necklace. “Oh, it’s beautiful. My grandmother always said that it would be passed down to me. This is going to go perfectly with my dress.” She held it up so that everyone could get a look at it.

During dinner, they talked about the wedding. The men had their suits, they would be wearing dark suits with matching black cowboy hats and boots. Chad would be the ringbearer and Ellie the flower girl.

Later that night in bed he hugged her close, his heart racing. In three long weeks, she would become his wife.

“So are you ever going to tell me where you’re taking me on our honeymoon?” she asked, using all of her womanly tricks to try and get him to tell her.

“I know what you’re doing Sam and the only thing you are going to accomplish by stroking my dick is to get a good fuck.”

Swatting him she turned her back to him.

He cuddled up, putting his arms around her waist, nuzzling the back of her neck. “It’s a surprise, one I know you’ll love. Now turn around and kiss me.” He knew she couldn’t resist him when he kissed her neck. He smiled to himself when she turned around, her arms snaking around his head and pulled him down for a kiss.

One week before the wedding: Sam sat back on the sofa with a glass of wine. There was nothing left to do for the wedding but wait for the day. She just knew it was going to be a perfect day and couldn’t wait to become Mrs. Calvin Fisher Jr. He still wouldn’t tell her where he was taking her on their honeymoon.

CJ was doing late-night rounds at the hospital and wasn’t expected home till later that night. It was lonely when he wasn’t around. The phone rang, she answered it but whoever was on the other end hung up. It was probably a wrong number she thought, so thinking nothing more about it went back to reading and sipping on her wine.

An hour later when she was outside feeding their horses a car drove by. It was too far away so she couldn’t see who was in it, it slowed down but then sped off. Goosebumps popped up on her skin. First the phone call and now this. Shaking her head she scolded herself for the feeling of fear that passed through her. It was nothing more than a coincidence.

She was in bed when CJ got home, seeing how tired he was and knowing his muscles were sore she gave him a back rub. He laid on his stomach and she straddled him and started rubbing his back. When she heard his light snoring she leaned down, kissed the side of his face. Getting off him she pulled the blanket over him. Laying on her side she touched his face lightly. She loved him so much and would never doubt him again, knowing he would never hurt her.

The next day was her last day of work, she had taken a leave of absence till after they came back from their honeymoon. It was close to quitting time, but she noticed someone sitting in her section, his back was to her. She went over with a menu, it fell from her hand when she saw who it was. Sweat broke out all over her body and her hands started to shake. All she could do was stand there, staring at him with her mouth open.

The man got up and picked up the menu, he towered over her as he looked down with an evil smirk on his face. “Hi, Sammy. You’re looking really good,” he said, letting his eyes travel down her body and up again, resting on her face.

“Jonathan, what are you doing here?” she asked, her voice shaking.

When he went to stroke her cheek she backed away. “I’m here for you, I want you back. I was a fool while we were married. I treated you badly and I’m sorry. I still love you and I want us to start over and this time it will be different.”

When she was able to push away her fear she glared at him, anger and hate flashed in her eyes. “You are sick.”

“You’re my wife, Samantha, I’m here to take you home.”

“We’re divorced remember?”

“A piece of paper means nothing. You belong to me, you always have.”

“Stay away from me,” she cried out. Turning she fled to the kitchen where she sat down, her body trembling.” “Ward, I’m not feeling well.”

“Your shift is almost over, you go on home now.” He gave her a friendly smile. “You want to get better for your wedding.”

Grabbing her purse she thanked him and left through the back door. The only one who could make her feel safe was CJ, so she went to his office. “Maureen, is CJ busy?”

Maureen looked up from her computer and seeing Sam broke out into a smile. “Miss Cain, he’s with a patient but should be done soon.” One look at Sam’s face and she knew something was terribly wrong. “Have a seat honey and I’ll get you some water.”

Only a minute had passed when Sam was handed a cup of water. Maureen sat next to her, patting her arm when she saw that Sam was crying. “There, there, dear. Are you ill? Should I interrupt Dr. Fisher and have him come out?”

She shook her head. “No, I’ll wait.”

“Can I do anything to help?”

“Thank you, Maureen. I’ll be alright once I see CJ.” She waited, wringing her hands together. She knew coming to him was the right thing to do. He had told her if there was ever a problem she was to come to him right away.
