Delrico POV

This world has been too calm these past six months. I’m waiting for Alpha Victor of the Blue Sea Pack to bring his warriors to attack other packs. He seems still down after almost losing to an Alpha from a small pack.

I’d rather hear news of war than news of the big packs making peace and doing business together.

I’ve been Alpha for six months. My pack has a lot of enemies, but no enemies have come or invited us to battle yet. They looked down on me because they thought I was too young to be Alpha..

“What if our wolves do the fighting, Alpha?” His hand gripped my hand, which was about to punch his stomach.

“Stop it,” Carina shouted. “Please stop. Don’t fight anymore.” Carina wiped the tears on her checks and looked at us.

The man hugged Carina from the side. He taunted me with his crooked smile.

I chuckled sarcastically. “Da mn it.”

“Karalyn.”

heart stopped pounding once more. That name sounds familiar. I followed Carina’s gaze. A blonde woman stood a few feet beside me, and we made eye contact.

“You’ve changed. I almost didn’t recognize you,” Carina said to the blonde woman before leaving with her mate.

“Carina!” I shouted using the Alpha voice. Carina glanced at me, and then her mate held her. I couldn’t catch up with them; Alpha Jacob and his Beta were still holding my hand.

‘Karalyn is our mate who you rejected. Carina is right, she has changed. My wolf’s voice. echoed in my head.

I looked at the shoulder-length blonde-haired woman wearing a white dress. We made eye contact again, and she walked away when the man beside her took her hand.

I was astonished. There’s no way she’s Karalyn.
