Chapter 30 Henry Is Enthusiastic 

Amy was disappointed. 

At the entrance of the company, as soon as Wesley got out of the car, he saw a security guard pulling a man who wanted to rush

The man was Sam. In the past few days, he came to the company every day but was driven out by Wesley, and the security guards also knew him. 

When they saw him, they would stop him outside. 

As soon as Sam saw Wesley, his eyes glittered, and he ran over quickly. 

“Mr. Harrington, I finally see you.” Sam was so excited that he was about to cry. “Mr. Harrington, what happened last time was my fault. I apologize to you. Please be generous and spare my bar.” 

Sam was so shameless that he flopped on his knees. He looked at Wesley and begged, “Mr. Harrington, why did you bother to deal with me because of such a trifle?” 

Wesley glanced at Sam indifferently and walked towards the 

company. 

“Mr. Harrington, I’m begging you on my knees. Please tell me what else you want. Even if you want me to die, please tell me why.”

Sam was furious. However, he had to hold back his anger and spoke politely. 

“You’re begging the wrong person.” Wesley’s words were as emotionless as his eyes. “You have offended someone, but it has nothing to do with me.” 

“Mr. Harrington, are you trying to fool a three–year–old kid? I’ve been in Azure City for years. How can I not know the rules?” 

“Since you know it, why are you still blocking my way?” 

Sam was taken aback. He stared at Wesley. “Mr. Harrington, do you mean that you won’t give me another chance?” 

Wesley suddenly stretched out his hand and grabbed Sam’s collar, answering him with behavior. 

Sam was thrown out and fell hard to the ground. When he stood up, he only saw Wesley’s back and the handkerchief he discarded. 

“Wesley!” A tide of rage surged through Sam. He was about to rush forward, but the security guards stopped him.

“Shut up!” How dare Sam scold Wesley? Seeing that, a security guard threw two punches at him.

Finally, Sam lay on the ground motionlessly with a swollen face and was thrown by the roadside by the security guards. 

Layla was restless in the hospital in the afternoon. 

She rushed home as soon as it was time to get off work. When she got home, she took the key to open the door. After pushing the door open, she heard someone talking in the room. 

“You can be a drummer in our band, and…” 

The two boys in the room looked toward the door when they heard the sound. 

“Miss Nurse?” The boy’s eyes glittered, and he was overwhelmed with excitement. “Zachary, is she the sister whom you have talked about?” 

Layla cast her eyes on Zachary in surprise and felt somewhat happy. Zachary had mentioned her to others. 

“Do you know each other?” Zachary looked at the boy and Layla with suspicious eyes. 

Henry smiled embarrassedly. He looked at Layla and said weirdly, “I told you that I had met a tender nurse in the hospital. I didn’t expect to see Miss Nurse again.” 

Henry forced a smile to relieve the embarrassment in the room. 

Layla changed her shoes and came in. She greeted Henry with a smile. “Are you Zachary’s friend?” 

“Well… We are good friends, but I didn’t expect you to be his sister.” Henry touched his head, daring not to look at Layla. 

Zachary stared quietly at Henry and glanced at Layla meaningfully. 

“I’m hungry.” 

Layla came to her senses and hurriedly took off her bag. “I’m going to cook.” 

She couldn’t remember how long it had been since Zachary didn’t say he was hungry to her. She didn’t know when he disliked her and everything about her. 

Therefore, when Zachary suddenly said he was hungry, Layla seemed flustered. She tripped over something on the ground when she went to the kitchen. 

Henry wanted to rush over to support Layla, but she regained her footing soon. Seeing that, he sat back down awkwardly. 

“Your home is somewhat messy,” Henry joked. He didn’t expect Miss Nurse, who seemed gentle and quiet, to have a messy home. 

to tidy it up. Then, Layla was admitted to the hospital. However, he didn’t explain. 

When Layla came back, she was shocked by the number on the blacklist and didn’t notice that the house was in chaos. 

After she finished cooking, she started to tidy her home up. “You can have dinner now. I’ll clean up first.” 

“Miss Nurse, let’s have dinner together, and I will tidy up with you after dinner.” 

“No need. You can have dinner. I’ll tidy it up soon.” Layla picked up the books on the floor and put them on the table to sort them. 

“No way. You are working when we are eating. How could we allow that to happen? Zachary, persuade your sister.” 

“Don’t worry about her.” Zachary walked to the dining table first. 

“What?” 

Layla paused. She suppressed the dull pain in her heart and forced a smile. “Don’t worry about me. I have had something on my way home. You can go and have dinner.” 

“Well…” Henry touched his head, not knowing whether what she said was true, 

However, he was still embarrassed to have dinner, so he ran over to help Layla pick up things. “Let me help you. How long will you have to tidy up alone?” 

“Should I put the books there?” Henry picked up the books and walked to the bookshelf. “It is labeled. A history book should be put here.” 

Layla compressed her lips. The young man’s enthusiasm was always irresistible, so she didn’t continue to refuse and just allowed Henry to do whatever he wanted. She went to the sofa to fold clothes. 

Zachary stood aside and looked at Layla and Henry. He didn’t have anything but just kept silent like an outsider. 

Because of Henry, the atmosphere in the cold and tense home seemed to be much more harmonious. 

Just like other kids, Henry was enthusiastic. 

Looking at his smile, Layla was in a daze. “If…” 

It would be great if Zachary could be like Henry. 

“Henry, did you say your landlord wouldn’t rent his house to you anymore?” 

Zachary said abruptly, making the atmosphere embarrassing 

again.
