I had no idea where we were all running to because it felt like the forest was never ending and the black bear chased after us as if he was sent after us. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me and was able to run past angelica and Danielle. The rest of the girls were already at the front screaming and attracting the attention of the black bear more. I found it annoying because life would have been easier if they tried to shut up and not scream like fools.

“stop screaming!” I shouted at them but it fell on the deaf ears as none of them pay attention to me. “if you are going to scream then turn back and show the....”

I was cut off by Angelica’s screams. “help me!” I heard her scream and I stopped running abruptly and turned to face her. Sh had fallen to the ground while the black bear headed towards her in insane speed.

“you should fight back!” I shouted at her. “aren't you supposed to fight back since you are a werewolf!” I shouted. I had always known werewolves to be strong and not the one who jumped in fear at any slight thing. “shift to your wolf"

“if I could, do you think that I would call for help!”

“if I were you, I will run and leave her behind,” Danielle advised and ran in front of me!" I think a cave is at the front there!” she pointed forward and beckoned to me. That was the first time Danielle had ever showed her other side that seemed to by a good side.

“help me my friend!” Angelica shouted my name and stretched forth her hand towards me.

Now she referred to me as her friend even though she sees me as a weapon to get closer to Fenrir. I looked at the two girls contemplating on who to choose but I knew I had to so I ran towards angelica remove one of the arrows hung behind my back and fixed it on the bow around me. I was no archer but I picked up a few trainings while growing up from my father. As fired the arrow towards the bear, I hoped it would reach him and he would stop running towards angelica but I failed as the arrow flew above the bear's head and landed behind his back.

“oh no!" I exclaimed as the bear howled at me and ran towards Angelica.

I ran as fast as my legs could carried me but suddenly stopped when I saw the bear running towards me instead. “oh goodness!” I shouted as I ran away as I saw the bear running past angelica and running towards me. “somebody saves me!" ran without looking back hoping that I would survive getting killed by the bear. Even if I wanted to die and leave t he world, I didn't want it to be like that. In short, I didn't want to die young. “I am going to..." I tripped and fell down flat on my face. “0 my!" the bear's howling grew louder as he neared me. I closed my eyes and turned to face the sky. “if I die today, please protect the humans that I couldn't protect” I had no idea who I was praying to but I hoped that someone would hear my cry for help and save my life.

“the bear is not doing anything to you!” I heard Angelica and I fluttered my eyes opened. I visibly gulped when I saw the bear's obsidian eyes staring at me.

“I am going to die,’ I muttered when I saw him bared its fangs at me. “please don't kill me," I begged the bear as if it could hear me. "have mercy on me." I waited for his reaction but nothing happened. He was close to my face that I could smell his rotten breath. He reeks of decay meat and I had to scrunch my nose to avoid throwing up. I believed that it could angered the bear so I pretend to smile at the bear.

“shoo away!" Angelica shouted and swung her sword towards the bear. Its hit him on the back and he growled in pain and slashed me on my left arm.

Iwas in an excruciating and I could barely move my hand from the ground. I just stared blankly up for at the sky unable to move. The smell of my own blood was so overwhelming that I could throw up but my left hand was numb and I thought angelica would notice but instead she laid beside me and in a few seconds, she jumped to her feet. “you are bleeding,’ she gasped and covered her mouth. “let me stop the bleeding” she removed her headband and tied it to my bleeding hand. She helped me up and we both stood up. “are you okay?” she asked but I shook my head in response because I wasn't.

Even though the blood had stopped bleeding, my arms felt like they were on fire. “we better leave here," I said and she nodded I response. We both started walking away and I turned after a few seconds. That was when I saw the bear staring at me again.

It makes me questioned if the bear was trying to tell me something but what could a bear could possibly want to tell a human like me.

Heaving a deep sigh, I turned to face my front and turned back again but the bear was already gone. “strange!” I muttered under my breath.

“Did you say something to me?” Angelica asked but I shook my head in response.

“ nothing," I replied her but deep down, I had a lot to say especially about the bear.
