Chapter 16: Cherokee's father Grave Digger attends the meeting at Tempers MC

Cherokee was up and dressed before I woke up. He shook me awake and let me know he would be at the club in church and would see me after. I told him I would come over and visit with Donna while he was in the meeting. He kissed my forehead and turned and walked out of the house getting on his bike and riding to the club.

I fell back to sleep as I was really tired from the balloon fight last night. I woke up around 12:00. I took a shower and got dressed. I walked out and saw a note on the table. Beth stated she had taken Rain to the club and would see me there later. I walked out and got in the truck and backed out of my driveway. I drove over to the club and parked near the door.

I saw the door being opened and a prospect helped me out of the truck before shutting the door. Temper saw the truck coming down the driveway and told him to help me out and then go back and join church.

"Thank you I said walking to the front porch."

As I walked into the club Rain ran to me. I lifted her up and hugged her before I put her down and she ran back to her friends.

We saw several of the members walk out from church and noticed that Beast, Cherokee, Chain, Temper, and Cherokee's father Grave Digger remained in the room.

"Why have you asked just the five of us to remain Grave Digger asked Temper?"

" I received a package in the mail last week along with two notarized letters. Cherokee doesn't even know about what I am going to show you all."

I handed Grave Digger the letters.

"What the hell is this he asked?"

" Apparently, it is the original tape that you saw many years ago. Only this tape has a conversation that you did not hear."

I pushed the tape in and let it play. I saw Grave Digger look over at Cherokee.

"Son of a bitch."

" Son, I'm sorry that I didn't believe you."

" That is not all in the end you could see Wolf's face plain as day."

" I should have known that he would do something like this."

"We are going to the Red Eagle MC. We leave in two weeks."

" I can't attend that meeting."

" Why not?"

" My wife is due to have a baby in a month."

" Your wife."

" When did you claim a woman?"

" Last night."

" We are getting legally married this weekend."

" Well, congratulations son."

" I also have a stepdaughter and she will take over her father's MC when she turns 18."

"Well, let us go out there and introduce me to my daughter in law."

" Dad, she was Wolf's girlfriend. He refused to claim her. He lied about the reason why. He told Donna and Beast his VP that he had a claimed woman and she was in a coma and on life support. He told him he didn't want to claim Dove because he wanted a child from her and to fuck the whores."

"That bastard."

" I did not raise you boys like that."

" So is the child Wolfs?"

" Yes, it is."

" Doesn't matter. Let's go out there."

We walked out of the room and to the VIP table.

"Dove, meet my father Grave Digger."

" Father this is Dove, my wife."

" And picking up Rain I said, this is Rain, my stepdaughter."

" Hello Dove "

I hugged her and said "welcome to the family."

I looked at Rain and said. "I am your grandfather."

"Hello," she said.

"I am Rain."

" This is my new daddy."

I know my dad told her. "Can I go play" she asked?

I lowered her to the ground and watched her run off to play. We sat down and I put my arm around Dove.

"How is the baby today?"

" Kicking a lot" I said.

"Dove, do you think you can fly to the states?"

" Yes, why?"

" We are going to the club for a meeting with Wolf."

"I will be fine."

" Good, I will have Beth pack up our things and get them ready to be sent to the States."

" Just pack a few things for you, me, and Rain."

" We can buy anything else we may need."

" When are we leaving?"

" After the wedding my dad said. We have a private plane."

" OK. I will take care of the packing" I said.

"So, you are getting married tomorrow."

" Yes, we are."

"I smiled at Cherokee and said that I wish it was today."

" So that is why all the Valkyrie are cooking?"

" Yes, it is."

" One of them is making a wedding cake today. She bakes for a living."

" I can't wait to see one of my sons get married legally."

" Shit, Cherokee we need to let your mother know."

"You call her."

We watched as his dad dialed a number.

"Honey, you need to come to Tempers MC tonight. Because your son is getting married legally tomorrow."

" Is it formal?"

" Yes, dad. She is wearing a wedding dress."

" Formal love."

" The men are wearing black jeans, black long-sleeved dress shirts, and their cuts."

" You will meet her when you get here."

" See you in an hour, love."

We were talking when the door opened and a short woman ran in.

"Where is she?"

" Where is who?"

" The bride of course."

Cherokee stood up and pulled me to stand next to him. "Mom this is Dove."

" Dove this is my mom, she is known as "little bit".

"You are beautiful his mom said. And I am going to be a grandma."

She clapped her hands. "Mom, she has a three-year-old daughter."

" Rain."

" So I have a little granddaughter."

" I am so happy."

I watched as she hugged Cherokee and then me. We were staying here at the club and my dress was hanging in our closet in the bedroom. I can't wait until tomorrow.
