Chapter 3-June 7th

Faithlynn's POV

It's Friday today, I woke up to the sound of slow breathing and calm heartbeat. I got up and went into the bathroom to freshen up and wake Reagan, because she has to go for work and afterwards, we are going to see a Lawyer to talk about the shit we call citizenship.

"Hey! Rea wake up or you're going to be late" I said shaking her a little. She rubbed her eyes and search for her phone, then start checking it out, as if someone would have sent her a morning text or something.

"I'm going to make breakfast, get up and get ready" I said walking down into the kitchen.

When I got that mail, I didn't know what to do, my mind went blank and the only person I could think of was her. Because I think she is the only one that can help me, she had kept me sane through most of my hard times, like when my ex-boyfriend's ex-girlfriend try to hurt me, she was there to protect me from that horrible person, and from all those horrible thoughts about that psycho killing me, that I got for at least 3 weeks.

Also, we have been friends since we were kids, we might have fought in the past, but she had never left me alone to dealt with my problems on my own, I can cry in front of her and like my favourite colour: pink, and she still won't judge me, she is the best thing I have, and I can ever wish for.

When I was done making the breakfast, I heard footsteps descending from the stairs and there come my only best friend. She is so pretty and have this toned body with flat stomach, she is kinda tomboyish and that look, suits her, she was wearing a navy-blue button down, with black pants and black socks, shirt tucked in with the help of black belt and with her favourite all black wristwatch. I wonder, how can she be friends with someone like me.

"So, what did you made me, tomato of a friend?" She said pinching my cheeks and grabbing herself a plate full of pancakes and a cup of tea.

"Like what, you say, tomato?" she laughed when she saw me looking at her, I think my cheeks are red that's why she is calling me a tomato.

"Don't you sometimes want to wear a dress or something less boyish? I asked slapping her hand away when she try to pinch my cheeks again.

"Well, I thought you like your Alpha's style, don't you? my little red Beta? And don't ever question your Alpha." She said with a fake glare, oh god am I still blushing? And here we go again with her calling herself an Alpha, since she watched that series called Teen Wolf, she has been calling herself Alpha and I'm her Beta. Because we are like that, we have each other's back and we are always there for each other.

"Shut up and don't you dare be late for our appointment with the Lawyer." I said reminding her sternly, she is always late for everything.

"Thanks for the reminder, and don't stress over it... okay? We will find a way out of this" she said assuring me and I nod "Be ready by 3pm, I will pick you up" I nod again.

She took the last sip of her Tea and went inside her bedroom to grab her essentials and came downstairs with her laptop bag and wallet and her phone in her hand, then put them on the kitchen island and start putting her wallet and phone in her pants pocket before placing some cash and the house keys on the kitchen island and sliding towards me "in case you need them" she said with a smile, and I can't be more embarrassed then I'm right now. I never had someone besides my parents giving me money when I didn't even ask and here, she is giving me the money I didn't ask for, because I was too ashamed of myself. She knew I need money, since I got that mail at the hospital, the manager of the hospital told me that I will be joining again when I get my citizenship. So right now, I have nothing but the petty cash in my purse.

"See you soon my red Beta." She said grabbing her car keys and walking off to the main door not before blowing me a kiss.

I freaking knew it she is going to be late, that's why I told her that the appointment is at 4pm but in reality, it's at 5pm. It's already 3:30pm and that ass of a supposed Alpha is not even here, I called her multiple times and every time she said that she is only five minutes away and here we are after 45 minutes and still no sign of that her.

Then after another 10 minutes I heard the horn of her car, I walked out, locked the doors of the house and made a beeline toward her car. "Where the hell have you been? Don't you freaking use you damn watch to see what time it is, we were supposed to be there at 4!" she just sat there smiling nervously "answer me?".

"Okay okay, calm down we will be there in no time, I just ran into one of our friends you know Amelia?" I nod "she was asking about you" she said with a straight face.

Oh no, Amelia and I have a history, and Reagan doesn't know about that. She had been calling me for past few days, but I didn't bother to answer her.

After 30 minutes of car ride, we reached our destination and walk up to the Lawyer's office "we are here to meet Mr. Brian O'Connor" I said to the receptionist. "Miss Faithlynn Grey?" She asked, I nodded "you may go in." She told us and we went towards the Lawyer's office.

Reagan knocked on the door, wow I didn't know she have manners, we heard a faint come in and she open the door for me, I entered into the office, and she followed along.
