Chapter-21 September 8th

Faithlynn's POV

It was almost midnight and I have been waiting for Reagan to show up at any moment.

Because of Reagan coming over, I told April, Aron and Amelia not to come to my room for the movie night, but Amelia kept on bugging me to tell her the reason, I just told her that I want to rest because its only few days since the wedding.

Suddenly the door opens and I saw Amelia standing there with a smirk on her face. Can't she just stop annoying me?

"What do you want, Amelia?" I asked in an annoying tone standing up from the window, I have been sitting on, waiting for Reagan.

She walks toward me and grab me by my waist "I have been wanting to find you alone for a long time, finally I got you." She smirked annoyingly while I try to push her.

"Let go of me, you freak". She tighten her grip on my waist.

"Nah uh, at least let me take what I have come for". She said grinning looking at my lips. Oh no!.

She leaned in to kiss me but I pushed her away with all the power I had and she fell back on the bed with me on top of her. She giggled while looking at me, I wiggled in her arms and she laughed even more making me scowl at her. "Let go, Asshole". I try to get away from her while she continue to giggled.

After trying so much I felt tired and slump lazily on her, she kissed my head "Now can I have what I have been looking for?" She asked looking at me.

Suddenly I heard something fall onto the floor and my head snapped towards the window. Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.

Amelia released me and I hurried to my feet, walking towards raging Reagan against my will.

She put her hand out to stop me and I can literally see a nerve bulging out of her neck in anger. I'm dead now, people pray for me.

I looked down not able to look at her, and saw what had dropped onto the floor and saw a rose , a big chocolate box ; which is my favourite with some snacks in a bag and soda cans.

I ruined our indoor date night. Shit.

Reagan walks in my direction and I can feel my heartbeat increases with her increasing steps. To my relief she walked passed me towards Amelia, she grabbed Amelia's collar pulling her out of the bed while Amelia looked shocked and terrified.

Reagan pushed Amelia against the wall keeping her in place by her collars. "I have told you many times to stay away from her." She said through greeted teeth while exhaling through her nose.

I looked for my phone so that I can call someone for help and saw it on the bed where Reagan is standing holding Amelia captive. I feel bad for Amelia though.

"It was her on top of me, not the other way around." Amelia said in a low voice putting all the blame on me. That piece of shit.

"You are lying." Reagan said in her face.

"You can ask her yourself and she invited me into her room, when no one was here". Amelia said with a smirk making Reagan even more angry. Reagan's face was red and her hands were shaking because of the anger. I grabbed my phone and called April but didn't get the chance to talk to her because Reagan tighten her grip on Amelia's collar causing her to gasp for air.

I went to her pushing my fear aside for the sake of Amelia's life, putting my hand on her arm shaking her a little "Reagan let go." In an instant she let go of Amelia "I'm sorry, but you can't say things like that about her." Reagan yelled at Amelia while punching the wall beside her head.

Amelia screamed and hide behind me. Just then April came in with Aron and Nadia on her tail.

"What's happening". April asked.

"This freak is trying to kill me." Amelia said from behind me. While Reagan stand there facing the wall not moving.

Nadia went to her side putting her hand on Reagan's shoulder "Rea, baby are you okay." She asked softly.

"Huh, you should ask ME if I'm okay." Amelia scoffed massaging her neck.

"Remember what I said Reagan it was her who invited me, I'm innocent." Amelia said in a high voice so that everyone can hear. April and Nadia gasp in shock while looking at me sympathetically. Just then Reagan turn around ready to hit Amelia but stopped when she saw me standing in front of her.

Nadia and Aron hold Reagan back while April escort Amelia out of the room. Reagan looked into my teary eyes with her blood red eyes and her glare soften. She relaxed making Nadia and Aron to loosen their grip on her. "You were shielding her?" She said as a statement then a question in a low voice.

"Tell me why were you protecting her from me, I saw you on top of her, but tell me the truth?" She asked kneeling down infront of me pleading.

I didn't say anything just kept on crying silently maybe because I was terrified of her, she took my hands in hers, shaking me "Tell me what happened Faith, tell me the truth. Tell me that whatever she said was a lie" her voice cracked and a lone tear run out of her left eye.

After a few seconds when I didn't say anything, She stand up wiping her tear and sniffing "so that's why you stopped me and pushed me away twice?" She laughed humourlessly making me look at her.

"Because of her? Huh, you should've just told me and I would've never even touched you." She spat.

"No, no ,no, that's not true." April try to save me.

"Oh so you are defending her now?" She asked glaring at April.

"I'm asking you last time Faithlynn tell me THE DAMN TRUTH." She yelled making me flinch and sob, April come beside me hugging me "say something Faith." She said.

"W-we fell o-on the b-bed." I said between sobs.

"Tell me the whole story, why was she here, in your room in the first place?" Reagan asked coming near me but I take a step back. She wiped her face with both of her hands in frustration.

"Say something Faithlynn." she growled impatiently.

She walked towards the window "what are you doing?" Nadia asked.

"Going out, I don't want to be here". Reagan said climbing down the ladder.

And then I cried even more.

"What happened?" Aron asked when I calm down a little.

I told them the whole story everything about Amelia, what she said and how we fell on the bed and how Reagan caught us on top of each other and Reagan choking Amelia.

"No wonder she was furious." Nadia said. I let out another sob while resting my head on April's soulder she rubbed my back.

"I don't know what I would've done if you wouldn't have come on time." I said thanking the three of them.

"When I heard you say 'Reagan let go', I knew something was wrong." April said smiling at me.

It's been an hour or two, we were all lying on my bed dozing off here and there.

"What now, your wedding is in two days and your bride to be is nowhere to be found." Aron asked grabbing all of our attention.

"What do you mean by nowhere to be found?" I asked concerned.

"I don't know max texted me telling that Reagan came into the house all angry and thrashed everything in her room and when he tried stopping her, she jabbed him once or twice." Aron said.

Then Nadia's phone ring she went out to talk, after few minutes she came back in and sat down on the bed on her previous spot."Her car is gone, don't worry she will be back tomorrow". She said giving me a smile.

I hope she's okay, I try calling her but nothing.

Its almost morning, All three of them have already dozed of but I can't help but think where she is and what she might be doing.

Then my phone rang, startling me, it was Reagan "Hello! Reagan where are you?". I asked hurriedly.

I heard sniffing on the other side "Just tell me you don't have feelings for her, please." She said.

"Reagan where are you tell me, come back home baby please." I pleaded.

"Do you have feelings for Amelia, just tell me I-I need to know." She said desperately.

"No,no I don't. Please just come back home please come back to me." I said sobbing.

"I will, I will." She said and hang up.

"Who was it?" April asked.

"Reagan, I hurt her again, I broke her, I destroyed our date night, and now she think I stopped her twice because of Amelia. She thinks I was defending her.." I rambled sobbing.

"She'll come back, don't worry, okay?" April asked rubbing my back soothingly. I nodded.

It's morning now and everybody went to their rooms to rest. Today we had to go for final fitting and making sure everything is prepared and available on time.

I heard the door of my room opening and in come my mother. She come to sit beside me on the bed. "I heard you and Reagna had a conflict last night?" She asked putting a strand of hair behind my ear.

"H-How do you know?" I asked terrified by the fact that she might get angry at me.

"We heard yelling last night and April said you guys had an argument because Reagan sneaked into your room." She said with a smile.

"Yeah she did." I nodded.

"Well looks like this one can't live without seeing you for a while." She chuckles making me blushed.

"Her mother wanted to meet you privately, so I'm sending her in okay?" She told me making me nervous. Why would her mother want to meet me like that she can just come in or just call me to her. I nodded. She left the room and sat up in my bed smoothing my hair out.

I heard a knock and saw Reagan's mother standing in the doorway. She came in and sat in front of me carrying a bag.

"Faithlynn, I can't tell you how greatful I'm for you to marry my daughter. I have always been worried about her finding someone who can't understand her or who can't look after her. But you, you are more than what I have wished for her. I think you are the only one for her and now I can stop worrying about her well-being because now you are going to be there to take care of her. And I'm sure she will do the same with all she have. She care about you alot, ofcouse because she love you deeply and sincerely. I mean you might know how she is y'll have been together since you were young." She said making my heart melt and I start to cry.

She cooed and wrapped her arms around me. "I'm more than happy to call you my daughter in law." She said kissing my forehead I smile in gratitude.

She grabbed the bag she brought and pull out two big and one small jewellery boxes out of it.

"It's a present from Reagan's father and I to our daughter in law." She opened the big blue box and it contains a dimond set with blue stones embedded in it. And the red box had some fancy But decent red stone necklace, it was so pretty and.... expensive looking. And the third and small box had a Rolex watch in it, well a pair of rolex watch. This is so much beautiful.

"I-I can't." I said at the loss of word. I was already too ashamed of what she had said because I'm doing anything but taking care of Reagan and now this. I want to die because of whatever Reagan had to go through because of me.

"Please, it's a gift from your in laws you can't decline it and you are my daughter now, I love you as much as I love Reagan." She said with a soft smile. And if she bothers you in any way just come to me and I'll set her straight". She said making me laugh.

I hugged her "Thank you so much." I said.

"Now get ready we need to go for final fittings." She said patting my soulder and leaving me. I need to find Reagan and sort things out.
