I have six hours before the eclipse starts; I packed food and clothes for the kids and stuffed three of my shirts in the bags as well.

I know which side of the pack to escape from and which to avoid.

The bags are hidden near the east side of the pack which is closer to the Night pack and far away from the Blood pack.

The only problem is I can't find the kids.

Everyone in the pack is hugging or waving to the Luna and Alpha as they were about to leave for their meeting, sending them off and wishing safe return.

Looking around, I try not to panic as I don't see them anywhere, where could they be?

Let me take over, Shadow says quickly

I can't they'll know, I think about the things the alpha will do to us.

Which one's more important us getting a beating or finding the kids then leaving this shit hole?

Sighing and nodding my head, Fine but we don't have much time

Shadow didn't say anything else as I closed my eyes with my head down.

Taking a deep breath I feel Shadow come on the forefront but didn't push me to the back like normal, instead he kept our head down and started walking to the woods.

He made sure that no one looked us in the eyes and sniffed occasionally to make sure we are going the right way.

Once we step foot in the woods, he ran to where he smells the kids at and soon I'm able to hear them.

Running threw some bushes I go into a clearing with a little pond and flowers everywhere.

Sophia is in a white dress, playing with the flowers while Tommy and Timmy are in the pond soaked.

Shadow let me take over again when he sighed in relief.

The boys saw me first and ran over to me then Sophia looked up and started to run to me as well but then fell.

She started crying; I quickly ran over to Sophia and try to calm her down, "My little princess please calm down. Please I know it hurts but I can't do anything until you calm down."

Sophia started hiccuping but tears are still going down her face. I quickly take her to the pond and clean her knee.

Sophia whimpered, "Daddy it hurts"

Whispering gently I take my shirt off and place it on her knee, "I know princess"

The boys stood beside her when a noise came from behind us and I prayed that it was just an animal with four legs and fur and not human.

But nothing I ever pray or wish for actually happens instead a different animal walk into the clearing clapping his hands with a sick smirk on his face.

"Well, well I always wondered how the brats lived this long without crying. Them being raised by a slave, a pain one at that, explains a lot."

I try to think of a way for the kids to run and hide but neither of the boys is big enough to carry Sophia and Sophia can't run with them.

The beta walks closer to us, so I tell the boys to go to the trail that leads to their daycare and hide. They nod and run to the trail.

Once they're out my sight I pick Sophia up and turn towards him without him being able to see Sophia's face.

I bow to him and wait for him to tell me to stand but he didn't

Instead he punched me in the face, I fell but I have to make sure that Sophia didn't hit the ground, so I turned and wished I didn't.

"AH the little brat been crying"

He starts laughing, "This is going to be fun"

Standing, I see the pack surrounding us

Shadow, find us a way out, now

There isn't one without Sophia being hurt or killed

I hear his words loud and clear but I still try to look for one with false hope

I hold Sophia closer to me when the pack starts to close in.

The beta steps closer and I know there is no way to stop what they are about to do

Sophia holds on tighter, "I love you daddy"

I look at one of my little nuggets soft and gentle face, "I love you too my sweet innocent little nugget."

Beta grabs her dress and I quickly grabbed his hand and punched him in the face.

He staggers back a step from shock before he growls and rips Sophia away.

I try to grab her but one of the warriors grabs me and makes me kneel in front of the beta.

"Just sit back and enjoy the show, slave"

Sophia kicks and screams in the Beta's arm, he lets her for a minute before he backhands her.

I try to get out of the warrior's hold as the beta hit her again and again

Sophia screams on every hit while the pack smile in delight.

I feel my soul die with every hit, slap, and kick

"Ah are you in pain?"

Sophia doesn't say anything; instead she curls up in a ball and waits.

"Well guess what I don't care"

He grabs her head and starts beating it into the ground.

I scream and try harder to get out of the warrior's hold until he hit me in the head making everything around me black.
