Epilogue

The forgotten goddess leans over the scrying table, watching Onyx and Demon reunite with the two little ones and feels the immense guilt.

There was no reason for anyone in that pack to suffer the way they did and yet Selene is a manipulative goddess who has her moment and will throw a tantrum to have her way.

She has a calm, gentle moments but now was not one of those.

Said beautiful goddess bursts into the room, rage filled eyes locks on the earthy woman, “Themis!! How dare you?”

A smirk appears, “What has happened now Selene?”

“You dare to intervene with my creations?”

Themis rolls her eyes, “I am allowed to intervene if I see that it is necessary. What is the issue?”

She turns back to the table underneath her scales of justice floating in the air. The table showing to Selene the two wolves, who ruined her perfect image, ruling their pack and receiving the peace that they so desperately deserved.

“You influence them to disobey me and go on a damn killing rampage. Now there’s only half of the population left.”

“There was already hate and injustice within your creations, so I didn’t not have to influence them at all. I just gave them the opportunity to right the injustice that was given to them.”

Selene stomps her feet, shaking the room trying to assert power, “YOU HAD NO RIGHT!!!!!”

Themis sighs at her attics, before waving her had to stop the shaking and shut the doors before turning back to Selene, “I have the right because I overpower you in every way. You know this so stop throwing a fit or you can take it up with the sisters. They are the ones that approved of this.”

“Wh-what do you mean?”

The sisters are tired of your tantrums. So, I have been authorized to have some of your creations as my own, so they can serve justice when it is needed. That means that they are under my protection and there is nothing you can do about it.”

Selene takes a step back, “Why? When did they?”

“About two or three human years ago, when you had killed the little girl named Sophia. The fates had a beautiful fate planned out for her that would have brought your creations peace. They were beyond excited, and you snatched it away.”

“There was nothing special about the girl. So, it shouldn’t have matter whether she lived.”

She sighs again leaning against the table, “You mean like the time you fucked up with Onyx’s great grandmother when the fates also had something very special for her as well. That doesn’t matter now. What does matter is that you cannot decide mates for anyone until all of mine has a choice mate picked out. They are my people and No longer yours.”

Themis walks up to Selene whispering, “Now that they are mine you will not interfere with this group anymore. If you try to not only I but karma will come for you directly and no one would dare to stop me.”

Selene storms out the room, leaving the King family smiling in scrying table.

Fully at peace and happy at last.
