Onyx POV

The woman fainted after saying that they had some information on the Night and the Royal pack but didn’t have the resources to back it up and say that it was accurate.

Zhaire throws a man to us covered in blood and barley breathing. I rose an eyebrow as the man fell on his face and Zhaire see the question in my eyes. He looked sheepish for a moment, rubbing the back of his neck, “He didn’t want to come willingly and let us destroy his pack so I got impatient and may have beat him half to death.”

Demon smirks, “How was their strength, Zhaire?”

“Their strength is nonexistent. They flash muscle to the smaller packs to keep them in line but no actual strength anywhere. Also, we killed the ones that we could find. There may have been a few that escaped. I am sorry about that.”

I waved it off, “Its fine. Word of the pack should spread faster now. Anything else to tell us?”

Zhaire nudges the alpha with his foot, “From what he told me, he didn’t know about the notebook so the other guy may have found out after he got here. More than likely he caught wind of it from somewhere and tortured the information out.”

“Pleaase don’t kill meee”

The weak pleading voice slips through the worthless lips of Alpha North, “Please, don’t kill me”

The man looks to Demon and ignores me completely, “I only wanted to fuck her and possibly make her my sex slave. You know how it is, right?”

Demon glares at the thing begging for its life, “Then why not just take her what were you going to do with the rest of them? Use them?”

“Kill it. The only pack I was going to use was the mountain pack, they’re known for their brains and ways with money. I just was going to kill this one because the bitch said no to letting me have my way with her and then after she was emotionally destroyed, I was going to turn her into my-”

Demon eyes was darker than tar at this moment and his glare was colder than ice going down someone’s back, “Shut up”

The thing’s eyes widen in fear once he looks up, his rambling turns into whimpers.

Demon’s hand is suddenly crushing his throat, growling, “You really thought begging for your life was going to convince me to let you live. Don’t make me laugh.”

Face turning blue he tries to get Demon to release his grip but only cause it to tighten.

“You caused your own death. Would you like to know why?”

Zhaire moves to stand behind me as Amos does the same for Demon protecting his back from any unknown threat. The thing’s eye started to roll back, and Demon let him go. He started coughing and trying to catch his breath but didn’t say anything.

Demon laughs while our pack keeps their distance, “First you spoke without permission. No one wanted to hear anything from you, but you opened your disgusting mouth anyway. Your second mistake was that you thought about making someone into a sex slave and brag about it to me. Do you have any idea what it’s like to be used, broken, and abused?”

He trembles on the ground as shakes his head starting to pray to the moon goddess.

Demon scuffs, “Of course you don’t. Make sure that you tell her Thanks. Because lucky for you, the people that can teach you a thing or two about being used is across the country, so your death will be quicker than I want it to be.”

His prayers become louder along with scent of tears in the air, but Demon paid no mind to it, “But don’t worry I’ll use my friends on the other packs, that way they will all know the pain that they put others through. We will be the karma that should have been served to you all a long time ago.”

The so-called alpha sobs, “please have mercy on me”

Demon gives him a smile and I watched any color that was left in his body vanish.

Fear filled the air as Demon puts his hand on the guys back.

“The time for mercy has ended and I don’t have any mercy to give anyway.”

Demon thrusts his hand through the skin and struggled to rip half of his spin out with his hand, causing him to pout, “Hmm thought the whole thing would come out this time.”

Sudden pleasure goes down my back and wraps itself around me. The sudden need to mark him again came with the wave of desire caused by Demon running his bloody hands through his hair and down his face. The red is a stark contrast to his skin and made his eyes look lighter than normal.

“Go soothe our mate”

I sigh, “not right now.”

She pushed my legs, “Why?”

Planting my feet and I clench my teeth, growling at her, “because I will mark him again and try to mate him.”

“Oh, heavens sakes.”

Mika takes over and dusts off any dust on our clothes once she has control of our body.

“Watch and learn” as she makes her way over to Demon.

Mika hugs him and puts our face next to his, whispering softly, “Don’t worry you’ll get it next time. Oh, by the way, Onyx and I want you to claim us as yours when you are ready.”

After a quick soft peck to the lips, she walks away leaving the poor man in shock.

“Now if that goes over his head then we just going to have to remark him and take control of the situation because I can’t get more straight forward than that.”

“I I can’t believe you did that”

Mika lifts the unconscious girl, rolling her eyes, “Any survivors of the Moon pack will come with us. If you pass the test, then you can join our pack if you fail you die.”

“I can’t believe you said that to him. And in front of the pack no less!”

“I whispered so it’s fine. They couldn’t hear”

“If I could smack my face right now I would. You do realize that the entire pack has been smirking the entire time since you said that right. Did you really forget that the entire pack has super hearing?!”

She quickly turns our head to see the giant ass grins on all their faces while looking in between us and Demon.

Mika looks back in front of us and starts to speed walk, “Well they were going to find out sooner or later.”

Irritated, I manage to push Mika out the seat and took back control on my body. I juggle the girl around in my arms until I am comfortable enough to run with her.

Demon ran past me with two of Moon’s pack member in his arms, he didn’t look back and for once I couldn’t figure out what was going on in his head.

Amos runs to my side with another member on his back, “Everyone will carry who is injured and met up at the river. Also, Elder Demon ask that you let someone else carry the woman.”

Huffing, I feel my eyes roll, “Why does he ask that?”

“He said that he doesn’t want you to over work yourself.”

“Says the one that ran carrying two wolves” Mika grumbles

“Also, Elder he asks that once you put the woman down to find him. There is something he wishes to show you something.”

Nodding, “Okay but in case I forget. Find the mountain pack and bring them to us. It’d be smart of us to have another source of income, if they are worth it.”

Amos throws a smirk with a happy glint in his eye, “Of course, Elder. I will do as you and Elder Demon wish.”
