"We're only a mile or two away from the compound." The king yells over his shoulder.

Nodding I look out the corner of my eye and see mate take a deep breath as she holds Micky hand a little bit tighter.

I feel Alex's hand tighten in mine and I look down to see him and Micky tighten their hold on each other.

"We can do this Tommy"

"I know but it's still scary"

Micky voice gets shaky, "Yeah, it is scary"

Alex look at him, "But don't worry Timmy I'll protect you, no matter what"

"And I'll protect you too, but you realize that we're suppose to use our new names now."

"you did it first"

"No, I didn't"

"Did too"

I cut in before they get into full blown argument, "Boys"

"Sorry dad" they said in sync

"There's nothing to be sorry about but remember to always be with each other when we get to this new place, understand?"

"Yes" they say together

"Also remember that I will always try my hardest to protect you, but you have to always protect yourselves and each other. That way if I can't then you can."

When they nod to each other, I smile a little before looking at the girl again.

I was shocked when she stayed.

Honestly, I thought she was going to say no and run the other way, but she didn't. instead she stared at me before nodding gently.

She hasn't said a word since we left but I think that was more because of Knox than her nerves. Every now and then her breathing will get a little out of shape causing me to stare at her. She'll stare back at me and her breathing will slow to a normal pace before we look back to the back of Knox's head as if nothing happened.

Her breathing picked up and she looked at me causing me to see the fear in her eyes. The fear never went away as we stared at each other but her breathing evened out. Like her body trusts me but her mind doesn't.

I don't blame her for not trusting me, honestly, I'm the same way with her.

Knox stops and turns to us, "We're almost to the compound, are you sure that you want to do this?"

I look at the boys quickly before locking eyes with the girl. I wait for her to say no or shake her head, but she doesn't.

I wait for Shadow to show any sign of doubt to me, but he doesn't.

I stare into the girl's blue eyes and see Sophia's for a split second before they vanish.

Swallowing the lump in my throat I look at the king, "We're sure"

He nods, "Before we go, I need to know your names"

I blinked and snapped to the girl only to see her do the same thing before snapping back to the king.

The boys stayed silent and just looked at me. I changed their names so no one could look for them that way. But I didn't even think about changing mine.

Looking back at the girl, she must not have thought about that either.

Wait why didn't I think to ask for the girl's name?

Shadow rolled his eyes, "Because it didn't really matter at the time and she didn't ask yours so......."

Well he is right about that

"Of course, I'm right"

Ignoring him I look at the girl and wait for her to say something.

She licks her lips and shakes her head at me gently.

"Know that this is a fresh start for all of you and nobody knows anything about you. So they will be hesitant to trust you. But they will accept you, all of you."

Fresh start

Meaning no ones knows our names either

We could make our own name for ourselves

And no one would every know anything we didn't want them to know.

We'd be somewhat free from our past.

I look to her and see her eyes light up with the same thought.

I said the first name that pop in my head

The name that Brown eyes and Alec gave me

"Demon"

I heard a tiny whisper come out her mouth, "Onyx"

I gave my mate, Onyx a small smile and she gave a tiny one back before we look back to a smirking Knox.

"Who are the two little ones?"

I look at the boys and see the same blue eyes that Onyx has.

Shadow nudged, "Do it"

"I hope you're right about this"

I take a deep breath before saying strongly, "Alexander and Michael"

I look into Onyx eyes, "They're our sons"

She looks shock but then smiled with tears in her eyes and nodded her head.

"Well I welcome you all to my home."

He turned and walked through the trees and we followed close behind.
