Alex nodded.

"Okay.Let's go take a look now."

Paige chimed in.

Half an hour later, the three of them arrived at the company's building in a car and noticed numerous bodyguards

door.

Alex turned to Lucas, saying, "Let's follow them."

For approximately two hours, they trailed the car until it stopped in front of a crematorium.

The stretcher was taken out and sent inside.

Alex, Lucas, and Paige promptly exited the car and entered the crematorium.

They cautiously followed behind as the bodyguards left, handing over the responsibility to a staff member.

Alex suggested, "Let's find out who the deceased is from the staff."

Lucas and Paige nodded.

the crematorium, Lucas suggested, "We should stay here for a while to accompany Julian on his final journey." Alex

and Paige concurred. Lucas gripped the steering wheel tightly and remarked, "If there is only Julian, Reuben should

be fine for the time being. Alex contemplated briefly.

"If Reuben is fine, there’s a good chance he might have switched sides."

Lucas’ eyes widened in shock.

"How can that be possible? Reuben is very loyal! He wouldn't do that!"

Alex glanced at him.

"What else is impossible now?"

At the hospital.

A nurse entered Caroline's room to change her dressing.

Seeing Caroline with her back turned, the nurse said, "Ms.Shenton, it's time for your dressing."

Caroline did not respond.

Concerned, the nurse patted her shoulder.
