Caroline felt her heart sink at the news,

“Is there any other option? I just need one,” Caroline said reluctantly.

“You could marry Mr. Jordan or find evidence that he abused the child.”

Realizing she could no longer hide, Daniella explained, “Axel has been diagnosed with leukemia, and I
