Chapter 505 No One Can Take This Away From You

It was night and Alec drove Jenny to Walter Castle.

"Be careful. Call me if anything happens. I'll be right here." With his identity, it would not be appropriate for him to follow her inside. The only thing he could do was stay at the entrance.

Jenny, who was opening the door, heard this and turned. "There's no need. He's my biological father. My life should be spared."

Jenny couldn't bear to make such a busy person as Alec stay there and wait for her.

"That's true." Alec nodded in agreement, but he did not mean to leave.

Jenny had no choice but to say, "You can go to work. Don't waste your time here. You can come back after I call you."

"Fine." Finally, Alec agreed.

Jenny walked toward the villa. Graham had probably told the maids of her arrival beforehand, which was why someone brought her in the moment she arrived.

Alec sat in his car, watching Jenny's silhouette disappear. Then, he raised his head and looked at the villa. The Walters were indeed part of the Ten Elites. To be able to have such a large plot of land in Bardoff City was not just something achievable with money.

"They're powerful, alright," Alec murmured.

He drove the car away, not lingering any longer. He knew that there was no use waiting there, and he had a lot of things to handle. He had already heard from Jenny about what had happened years back. He didn't want to be the next Graham, which was why he had to make himself stronger. That way, no one could stop them from being together.

In the villa, the maid brought Jenny to the dining room. "Miss Walter, you have been instructed to wait here."

"Alright. Thank you." Jenny nodded and thanked the maid. She went over to the sofa and sat, not feeling any inhibitions at all.

Rowena and Jolene appeared at the stairs. They saw Jenny at once, and their expressions shifted.

Rowena had spent the entire afternoon making Jolene accept the fact that Jenny was part of the Walters. This was the only reason Jolene was not breaking down right now.

Jolene was the precious princess of the family. She had to act like one. If not for the forewarning, she would have lost her composure.

"Look at her, Mom. She's not thinking of herself as an outsider at all." Jolene gnashed her teeth when she looked at Jenny.

Rowena sighed. 'Who said otherwise? This bitch might be here in Bardoff City to snatch the Walters away from us."

"Mom, you have to help me! I can't accept someone like that as my sister!" Sister? Was Jenny even worthy of that?

If not for Rowena holding her back, Jolene would have wanted to rush down and kick Jenny out.

Rowena smiled comfortingly. "Don't worry. I will take care of this. We have only one daughter. The Walters will be yours. No one can take that away from you."

No one.

Rowena would send them to Hell if they dared.

"Let's go. We should meet Jenny." Rowena smiled coldly and brought Jolene downstairs.

Jenny was flipping through a magazine on the sofa. She heard footsteps and looked over instinctively.

Rowena and Jolene stood at the stairs. Rowena was an old fox. Despite her seething hatred for Jenny, she kept a smile on her face, albeit a forced one. On the contrary, Jolene did not mask her contempt for Jenny. She glared at Jenny ferociously.

Jenny smiled at them sincerely, stunning them both.
