chapter 2: The Big Day

I wake up early this morning, by someone knocking my door.

I take a glimpse with my side table clock. Its 6am in the morning, it’s so early for the saturday. No schools and no more exams. It’s free day.

“Chloe, are you up? my sister Amber asked me.

“Leave me alone. Its saturday remember? I have all the time to sleep today. I said, while my face is on my pillow.

“You promised me to come with me today isn’t it? Its the kingdoms big day. So start fixing your self now.” she said, and heard her footsteps.

I’m too busy the past few days and wasn’t remember the promised I made to Amber.

’If you don’t want to join to the competition, then just be with me atleast when the kingdom announce the fifteen’s winner.

"Blahhh... I stood up and take a bath. After a few minutes, I totally dressed up.

“Chloe, come on. Are you done? We can’t be late.” she said hurriedly.

“I’m all done. Just wait okey! We’re only watching, so don’t be hurry.....

“Whatever....

Then I opened the door and she looked at me from head to toe.

“What’s that look? I asked.

“You can’t be dressed like that. Just wear at least your dress that dad brought you a month ago.” she answered.

“What’s wrong with this? White shirt and a jeans is not bad at all.”

You’ll gonna regret it.

“Did you say something?

“Nothing. Let’s go.

The Kingdom is not too far, so we walk in by almost 15minutes. After entering the kingdoms gate, we started to walked and join the crowds of girls. Everyone is talking non stop, so it made the kingdom so noisy.

“Chloe, at this side....” someone calling my name, I looked left and right then I saw Faye from the corner.

“You look great! Goodluck. I said amasely, shes wearing a red dress that makes her more beautiful.

“Thanks. By the way, your mind don’t change? You don’t fill up the registration form?” she asked me curiously.

“No im not. Im just her because I promised Amber to be with her today. You know.” I answered and smiled at her.

After a few minutes, a guy from the kingdom stand in front of the crowd.

“Ladies..may i have your attention please!” man said in calm voice then continue talking. As i know, his the right hand of King William.

“Before we start the announcement of the fifteen chosen to be part of the competition, let me call first King William, Prince Dale and Princess Kaitlyn.” he said and everybody clap there hands to great them. Then the three set into there respective throne. The man talked again.

“Let me tell you that this competition is not just an ordinary competition, as you know this is the biggest and the most awaited day of you all ladies. And i know, everyone is excited to hear your name. The list is on my hand now, and we’re so glad that 90% of your age joined and register. I will start now.”
