Briar staggered and nearly fell to the ground. She smoothed her messy hair and looked up again, a sneer on her face. "I haven't even done anything to you, but you hate me so much. It would have killed you if I did anything to you."

"My time is short. Tell me... What is it you want?" Stefan urged her impatiently.
