The Supreme God of Martial Arts
Chapter 678 I Didn't Mean To Beat Him To Death

Bang! Bang! Bang! Continuous sounds of hits and punches filled the place.

Devoid of any facial expressions, Austin heartlessly punched the cultivator with a saber who was floating in mid-air.

It looked like he was hitting a punching bag instead of beating up a person.

All the people around froze in shock, gazing at Austin who was still striking his opponent slack-jawed.

It was until he gave his target a dozen punches that he satisfyingly stopped.

Bang!

A dead body, badly beaten up and mangled, fell on the ground.

The entire crowd held their breath, appalled at what they just witnessed.

They stared at the dead man whose eyes were almost bugging out. Even the Imperial Realm masters were startled by the scene.

As if signaled by the cold breeze, an eerie dead silence enveloped them.

Each of them gawked at the young man, aghast.

“A cultivator at the premium stage of the Sky Realm who had grasped level 10 blade intent had been beaten to death by a lad.

That fellow punched him to death.

That Sky Realm master even couldn't fight back, let alone sneak a single hit on the young man.

That's amazing!" the rest analyzed, terrified.

Austin turned to them and said apologetically, "My cultivation base is low, so I am not good at controlling my strength yet. I didn't mean to beat him to death.

Lucky for me, Mack said it's okay even if I kill people.”

He then glanced at the dead body with a playful yet defiant look in his eyes.

Acting as if nothing had happened, he began laughing innocently.

At this point, he looked like a pure, harmless, and lively teenager who would not pose a threat to anyone.

A ridiculous thought occurred to the crowd. “That must be an illusion. That can't be true!"

“This brat is too brutal. He is a demon! He could have killed that man with one punch but instead he tortured him.

He was enjoying the process of slowly killing his opponent. That man is merciless! What a horrible person! He had gone too far!

He is an evil guy! He has committed an unforgivable crime.

We almost got fooled by his looks,"

said a newly recruited man of the Eagle Mercenary Team. His voice was filled with anger and fear.

"So who is the next? Who wants to accept my challenge?”

Austin stared at the freshmen of the Eagle Mercenary Team with a thrilled and bloodthirsty look in his eyes. It was as if they were his prey ready to be slaughtered.

The freshmen were terrified by his questions.

'He wants to kill more people.’

Out of fear, dozens of the newcomers of Eagle Mercenary Team took several steps backward instinctively and lowered their heads to avoid meeting Austin’s eyes. Austin heard some of them chattering under their teeth.

The three leaders of Eagle Mercenary Team looked grave and upset. Mack Luo initially intended to make fun of the leaders of the Tiger Mercenary Team to his heart's content after the cultivator with a saber took Austin out.

But things didn't go as he had expected, and it was hard for him to accept the result.

Furious as he was, he couldn't do anything about it. He could see that the newcomers of his team had been freaked out and didn't have the guts to challenge Austin.

"The game is over!

Brat, you're definitely fearless.

I have underestimated you.

But now that you killed one of our men, we'll not spare you," Mack said sternly, imposing an undeterred tone.

He turned around and walked away with his team members.

Walter, from the Tiger Mercenary Team, recovered from his bewilderment and burst into laughter.

"Mack, it's not a big deal. You only lost one of your freshmen.

Oh, I see. That man you recently recruited was too weak. No wonder you're angry.

I'll give you a kind tip: don't recruit these losers to make a fool of yourself."

This time, Austin had eliminated a freshman of the Eagle Mercenary Team on behalf of the Tiger Mercenary Team. That, without a doubt, embarrassed the members of the former team.

Walter was shocked by Austin's physical strength, and at the same time happy with the result.

So, as he saw Mack leaving with his members, he couldn't help but throw sarcastic remarks on his end.

Upon hearing Walter's mocking voice, Mack paused in his tracks and gave a snort.

He then continued to move forward without looking back.

"Well, you're Austin, right?

Well done. You taught them a hard lesson.

And your physical strength is quite impressive. I'm looking forward to your performance in the Sunset Mountain. If you perform well, you'll be qualified to be a part of our team,” Walter uttered, looking at Austin with much appreciation.

In all honesty, Walter was first slightly mad at the lad because of the arrogant way he acted; however, now that he witnessed his strength firsthand, he thought highly of him.

"You really surprised me.”

The woman also gazed at Austin and praised him.

"Thank you. I'm flattered,”

Austin curtly replied.

"You're dismissed. Remember to be here on time tomorrow morning,” Walter announced, this time, talking to all the new recruits.

The thirty people who were going on the mission in the Sunset Mountain all dispersed at once.

Some of them who had despised Austin before now looked at him in complete awe.

Some sophisticated guys ran towards Austin and tried to suck up to him.

"Buddy, you're so good. I'm impressed.

You punched that guy to death, and he didn't have the chance to defend himself," one of them flattered.

"To be honest, when I first saw you, I immediately knew you are amazing. Look at you! You are incredibly handsome, and you're physically strong.”

"You're right. Look at him. Based on his fine features, I bet he will achieve great things.”

"Buddy, I'll team up with you after we enter the Sunset Mountain." Flattering remarks and compliments flooded Austin. The men were obviously trying to get on his good side and earn a powerful companion.

Austin felt as if he would have a headache as he listened to and faced the annoying men. He knew they were buttering him up, and their aggravating remarks made him ran out of patience.

"Get lost. I have to go!" Austin shouted as he tried to get away from them.

He squeezed his way through the crowd, releasing 100, 000 pounds of force. As a result, several cultivators were thrown and sent flying by the impact.

Terrified, the rest immediately moved aside to make way for Austin. "Ha-ha. I'm sorry. I just really have something to do, so I have to leave now,” Austin explained.

Without turning around, he advanced forward, leaving the rest behind. "What an arrogant guy! He is ruthless and grumpy, a difficult one to deal with.

Don't mess with him, and don't flatter him too.

If you displease him, you might become his next punching bag!"

one who had been thrown into the air warned his other companions, staring at Austin's back.
