The Supreme God of Martial Arts
Chapter 579 Another Fight In The Ghost-Devouring Flag (Part Two)

So, it greatly stunned Seth that Austin was capable of commanding almost one hundred corpse generals. From Seth's perspective, it was something impossible; something that even the head of the Ghost Sect was unable to do.

In Seth's eyes, Austin was just a young man. He didn’t know what this young man had experienced and was capable of.

Austin’s spiritual sense had grown dramatically. He owned tremendous energy and his power was far stronger than what Seth had imagined. Seth never expected that such a young man would possess a cultivation base which was higher than that of the outstanding cultivators at the Imperial Realm level. He was too young after all!

Since Seth was just a Sky Realm cultivator, there was something beyond his knowledge. But what he felt confused could be comprehended by cultivators at higher levels.

Due to Austin's powerful spiritual sense and his natural gift in the field of soul cultivation, he could easily master such skills like controlling and manipulating objects with the help of spiritual sense. Compared to Austin, ordinary cultivators would need a lot of effort to achieve that goal.

The skill of controlling and manipulating corpse generals was Ghost Sect's unique skill. Disciples in the Ghost Sect had to refine their spiritual sense for a long time and learn and practice the skill repeatedly before they could finally master it.

Austin was lucky, while most of the people were ordinary ones. They were less favored by God. With his talent and tremendous spiritual sense, Austin had no difficulty in learning any kind of martial skills related to spiritual sense.

"Well, you seem to pay no attention to my words. You don't want to release them, right?

Your Ghost-devouring Flag is a terrifying weapon! But do you think your Ghost-devouring Flag will work on me?"

Austin spoke fearlessly. He was fully aware that the longer Theon and the other two elders stayed in the Ghost-devouring Flag, the greater danger they would face. They could even die in there.

Austin didn't want to waste time talking nonsense with Seth. His focus now was to save Theon, Elder Xiao and Elder Xu as soon as possible. He looked up at the cluster of black smoke hovering in the air. It was as dark as the night and wide enough to cover several miles. It roared and seethed constantly like a monster, dancing desperately in the sky. Without any hesitation, Austin leaped into the thick smoke like lightning.

He stepped into the world of the Ghost-devouring Flag. Everywhere there was sheer darkness. Austin saw nothing after he had flown into it. But it was not empty for it was full of demons and ghosts from hell. Countless evil spirits, ghosts, monsters and demons rushed towards Austin from every direction. They shouted, howled, and twisted their bodies with wildness as they approached him.

"Go back to hell!"

Austin said flatly. He raised one of his arms to draw a huge arc in the air. With the stunning lightning of the arc, the darkness was instantly split into two halves. Numerous smaller flashes of lightning were emitted by the arc drawn by Austin. They were aimed at the evil ghosts and demons and struck them at fleeting speed. In moments, countless demons and ghosts were hit. They all turned into ashes.

The power of the arc of lightning surprised Austin. Facing so many ghosts and demons, Austin was initially at a loss. He had no idea how to deal with all of them at one go. The idea struck him out of nowhere, and he tried the power of lightning. Surprisingly it worked. Only one arc of lightning was enough to kill all those ghosts and demons. Looking at that, it was clear that everything in the world, no matter how mighty it was, would have its vanquisher. Every powerful entity had its weak point and its destroyer.

Satisfied with the effect of the arc of lightning, Austin launched several other arcs in succession. Soon those ghosts and demons which were around him were all eliminated. There was a sea of blankness surrounding him. When he raised his head, he saw Theon and the other two elders sitting at a short distance.

They were exerting energies to ward off the evil ghosts and demons around them. There were hundreds and thousands of ghosts and demons by their side. They had circled the three men who sat in the middle. They roared, shouted, and howled at the top of their voices, rushing towards the three warriors. With them were various upsetting negative emotions of wildness, evil, despair and slaughter. These acted as illusory products of those vile spirits and ghosts. The bad feelings surged in high waves, gushing into the Soul Sea of the three men without stopping.

Under the attack of the ghosts and demons, Theon and his companions turned pale. They trembled as they lost control of their bodies. Although their bodies seemed intact and unharmed, their spiritual souls were experiencing severe mental attacks from the ghosts and demons. It was obvious that the three of them were in a dangerous situation now. Had Austin delayed a little longer to reach there, their spiritual souls would have been damaged completely. After that their physical state would be at a point of no return.

Austin rallied his strength and dashed towards Theon and the other two men without any delay. He couldn't lose them now.

He constantly launched arcs of lightning, as thick as his arm. The lightning was accompanied by thunder, and ceaseless flashes of light illuminated the world of darkness. A heavy smell of burning and charring filled the whole space.

Sensing Austin's attack, the ghosts and demons tried to flee as soon as the lightning flashed in the air. They yelled and shouted in helplessness and ran in every direction. Their imposing aggressive emotions turned into pathetic feelings. They were now filled with fluster, fear and dread. They asked for mercy in despair, their voices were distressing and pitiful.

The ghosts and demons tried to run fast to escape, but they were not as fast as the lightning. Just in a blink of an eye, hundreds and thousands of ghosts and demons were burnt down to ashes.

The battle ended soon. Within the time span of a few breaths, the ghosts and demons around Theon and his companions had been wiped out.

Theon and the other two elders got the opportunity to recover their energies.

They opened their eyes and found Austin standing in front of them. "Austin, it's you! How did you get in here?

You saved us, didn't you?"

Theon asked in a feeble voice. He knew Austin was the only person who could have done that!
