The five major sects were supposed to stand together and annihilate those disciples. But the plan went south.

They are saying we will suffer extermination and the entire family will die if we don't bend down in front of them within half an hour." Suddenly, a young man burst into the hall and reported. He was so scared that his face looked pale and bloodless.

Mindy exchanged a look with Zachary and they all rose to their feet. "Mindy, should we fight or surrender? It's up to you now." The young man asked.

Mindy was in the highest position in the family now, and Zachary acted as adviser to her, helping her in major decisions of the family.

"Austin, what do you say?"

Zachary asked Austin.

"First, let's go outside and have a look," Austin replied.

The idea that the Ghost Sect had become so big in the Violet Orchid Empire now really interested Austin and he wanted to see their strength in person.

Austin, Mindy, and Zachary went to the courtyard gate, followed by a dozen young and middle-aged men of the family.

Austin gestured to the guards to open the gate.

He then took the lead and walked outside without hesitation, intrigued about what he would see.

Hundreds of figures were standing outside, led by a middle-aged man clad in black.

He spoke just as the gate of the courtyard opened.

"Have you all decided yet? Whoever's in charge of the family, bend your knees and join the Ghost Sect, or die.

No more lingering. You have almost run out of your time."

The voice that left the throat of the man in black was quite cold and overbearing. After he had completed his sentence, he threw his head back and sneered at the Zhang family, condescending.

"Austin, this man is extremely powerful.”

Mindy whispered to Austin.

A cold laugh escaped Austin's lips. "He is a nobody! Just a man at the preliminary stage of the Mysterious Realm.”

Without even a word, more than fifty corpse soldiers dashed towards the gate as he waved his hand.

"Everyone! Pull back and keep away from them. Don't engage. Let me deal with them."

Austin knew that these corpse soldiers were not strong, but the warriors at the Earth Realm might be no match for them.
