“But, Tina, I-” 

“That’s enough. Stop talking.” 

After telling her best friend to shut up, she then ran down the stage and yelled at the crowd, “What are you all waiting for? Ban and blacklist this bastard from all your companies now!” 

“No problem at all, Ms. Sullivan!” the crowd replied. 

Just as they were about to start banning Sean from their services, they heard loud, uniform footsteps coming from the main doors. 

A few moments later, a dozen or so armed soldiers wearing black suits of armor appeared at the doors. 

It caused such a stir that everyone’s attention was drawn to them. The guests turned to look at the arriving soldiers. A split second later, the wedding guests’ faces turned pale with shock. 

The Black Army! 

These were Diego’s personal fleet of guards and soldiers, known as the Black Army. In other words, the commotion at the banquet ha had caught the attention of Diego himself! 

“Mr. Jones! When did you manage to contact Mr. Black? How did w know nothing about it?” One of the company owners among the guests suddenly spoke up, still trying to flatter Wayne. 

After all, the only person in this entire banquet hall who could get Diego’s attention was none other than Wayne. 

“W-What?” 

It was only then that Wayne came back to his senses. He chuckled

and said, “Oh, I contacted him earlier.” 

Certainly, he couldn’t admit to his guests that he had no idea about what was happening, could he? 

But, the appearance of the Black Army told him that Diego was paying much attention to their wedding. Otherwise, how else would Diego know about the situation and send his army here? 

Look at him! He was such a powerful man that even Diego. recognized and appreciated him like that! 

“Oh my god, sweetie! You’re such a wonderful person, and I’m so proud of you!” Tina was so excited that she couldn’t hold still any 

longer. 

This was, no doubt, another pleasant surprise that Wayne had prepared especially for her! 

She immediately thought that her choice to divorce Sean and marry Wayne was the 

best decision she had ever made in her life. 

Even Patricia was pleasantly shocked to see such a huge commotion going on. The thrill and excitement was real. With Wayne as their backer, she and her family would be treated like royals in Skye City! 

However, Cecilia looked at the Black Army and felt her palms starti 

to sweat. 

This was bad! 

“Sean Lakeworth, weren’t you still trying to bluff your way through just now?” 

Tina looked at Sean with a smug expression on her face. “Now that the Black Army is here, what else do you have to say for yourself?” 

“How sure are you that I wasn’t the one who summoned them here?” Sean asked, his lips curling up in a hint of a smile.

“You!” 

Sean’s single sentence was enough to send Tina into a rage. She turned and said to Wayne, “Sweetie, can’t stand this idiot talking. bullshit to me any longer. Tell the Black Army to throw him into the sea and feed him to the sharks! Then, we can continue with our 

wedding.” 

“No problem.” 

Wayne grinned proudly and cleared his throat. Then, he shouted politely at the soldiers, saying, “My dear soldiers, could you please help me by throwing this troublemaking bastard into the sea and feeding him to the sharks?” 

However, none of the soldiers moved a muscle at his words. 

“Huh?” 

The guests were puzzled. 

Wayne thought that the soldiers must not have heard him. So, he shouted louder the second time. “My dear, fellow Black Army dudes, please lend me a hand to throw this troublemaking bastard into the sea and feed him to the sharks!” 

He yelled until his face turned red. And yet, none of the soldiers 

moved at all. 

“Stop yelling.” 

Just then, a deep voice sounded from outside the banquet hall. 

Whoosh! 

All of a sudden, the Black Army shifted into two parallel lines leading 

into the hall. 

A plump, elderly man in a dark blazer slowly walked down the red 

carpet into the hall. His sideburns were graying, and his face was stoic and expressionless. However, he had a mighty, oppressive presence that could be felt all around the room. 

“It’s Mr. Diego Black!”

Everyone held their breaths. Their eyes followed Diego’s every step toward Sean. It was as if nobody else caught his attention other than him. 

He stopped right before Sean. 

The guests were overjoyed. They couldn’t wait to see the drama unfold. 

Meanwhile, Wayne and Tina were so thrilled that their faces turned a deep shade of red. They never thought that Diego would appear and personally take care of things for them! 

Sean, that fucking idiot! Didn’t he say that he was the one who summoned the Black Army over? And that he knew Diego? 

Now with Diego here, they could finally watch him eat his own words! 

However, under everyone’s scrutiny, a look of utmost respect came across Diego’s originally stoic expression. Then, he placed his hand on his chest and nodded respectfully at Sean. 

“Sire!”
