About the Author
JAY PILLERVA is a digital illustrator and author. She loves drawing cute, warm things and writing dark, scary books. How fitting!
As an aspiring young artist, she acquired her Multimedia Arts degree and rendered her talents as an animator, illustrator, and workshop instructor. After three years in animation, she decided to pursue freelancing while working on her own independent content.
That includes The Metropolis Series, her passion project since she was thirteen years old.
In 2022, her first book, Quinn and the Metropolis, was nominated for a Filipino Readers’ Choice Award in Young Adult Fiction.
While writing, she does freelance illustration and teaches art and animation workshops.
