The Inauguration
Chapter 17

Elena Therealt was fuming.

She was pacing up and down her office, her mate sat on the brown lush couch watching her frantic pacing. “I will not take this laying down Grayson”, she growled,” he humiliated me, you, my son, our pack”.

She huffed finally stopping the pacing and stood before her mate catching her breath. She rolled her shoulder trying to release the tension that has seemed to have built up in knots ever since the supposed coronation.

She was angry, anyone knew that. Even if you didn’t, you could probably feel it if you were in her space.

She wanted her son to be the King, she had always dreamed that her family would be worshipped and just when they had it, just when it was at their fingertips…

She grunted and turned away from Grayson, leaving her office and heading down to her son’s room.

There she stood at the door, her hand wrapped around the handle about to open the door when the voice of her mate stopped her. “Leave the boy Elena”, his voice calm and somehow pleading, “let the boy be a boy”.

“He is to be king Grayson”,

“Is he Elena?”, he asked her softly, placing his hand over hers that stilled on the knob, “What’s done is done, let’s not fuss over spilt milk darling”.

He pulled her away from the door and down the hallway towards their room. He heard her sigh and he smiled.

Closing the door behind them, he leads her towards the bathroom, where he filled the tub.

Taking off her clothes piece by piece, he kissed her gently on the shoulder and she moaned a sweet moan and he continued making sure to relax her as he stripped himself.

The tub was filled with bubbles and the room smelt of lavender and lilies. He picked her up before getting into the water himself and placing her on his lap, her back again her chest and she sighed in content.

They laid in the water, entangled in each other’s warmth and she felt the tension and exhaustion she had felt for some days now, disappear and she turned in his lap.

Her hands cupped his cheek, and she stared into the soft sky eyes she adored and he smiled at her and she couldn’t resist the urge to smash her lips against his.

They fell into a rhythm and her moans echoed the walls as he pulled her close, her chest pressing against his.

The water-filled with this magnificent fragrance and soft ingredients made their bodies more edible to each other. She sucked in her breath when she felt his shaft enter her, and he took the opportunity to indulge her further and she moaned, only invigorating her more.

The night grew and dimmed as they both ended up in bed, with her engulfed by his warmth and soft snores of slumber.
