Magnus returned to the familiar comfort of Maplewood Manor, finding Natalia waiting for him. She was perched on the sofa, her eyes glued to the television, engrossed in whatever it was she was watching

But Magnus had been longing for her all day. There was no way he was going to let her go now. He held her tightly, declaring. There’s nothing improper about kissing my wife. Even if someone saw us, there would be no cause for embarrassment
