Chapter 45: Someone finally talks

Hey everyone. Sorry for the long wait.

I’ve had some family issues so I haven’t been able to update in a really long time.

I apologize greatly for that, and I’m really sorry. Please forgive me.

And I know I probably made a bunch of you upset, but I just hope you can understand.

And I’m sorry for not writing my chapter for My Werewolf Mate. And I had to have Wolfheart wright it. And I’m really sorry Wolfheart. :(

And the restricted scene for this book is up in the Restricted Scenes Book which is found under my works. Because a lot of you have been asking to have it. So I just wanted to let everyone know that it is in a separate book under my works.

And my boyfriend and I had our one month on the 28th. He took me to Olive Garden and a movie. Which was 22 Jump Street.

And we are doing really good :)

And he keeps getting me stuff, and I feel really bad lol. Because he keeps spending money on me, and I’m like ‘no lol’. But he is the sweetest guy ever. And he told me he loved me :D ahh. Haha.

And the Red Sox lost to the Cubs…and now we are losing again to the Cubs…what the hell…?!

And I have been thinking of making a snapchat. But just for you guys. But idk…

Oh, and I have a new email guys. It’s on my bio.

I also have a question. How do you upload pictures and videos on here? I have tried to do it, and it always says something about the size and it never works. And yes, I do use my laptop to do it, but it never pops up.

“Ooh la la.” Ashe smirked as I walked downstairs.

I rubbed my forehead and gave her a weird look.

“What?” I asked.

“Angry madke-up sex. Nice choice.”

I stuck my tongue out at her. “Shut up.” I sat down at the table. “Hey, where is Victoria?”

“She won’t come out of her room. Giving Liam a heart attack.” She laughed.

I nodded in understanding. “I didn’t want to come out of my room either.”

“So. Did you give Jake a piece of your mind.” Ashe smirked as she raised her eyebrow.

“You can say that.” I laughed remembering when I almost threw him out. Well, attempted too.

“Well that’s good.” Ashe laughed as she took a sip of milk.

“Oh shit.” I said remembering something.

“What?” Ashe asked worried.

“I just remembered something.” I said smacking my head against the table top.

“And that is?”

“We didn’t use protection last night.” I trailed off looking at Ashe horrified.

“You did not..” Ashe said. “What will your mom think?”

“I don’t know. But I don’t want anyone to worry about anything. Especially with this huge rogue war thing that is going on. No one will find out about this. Especially Jake.” I said sternly.

“Got it. I won’t tell anyone.” Ashe said. “If everyone is this on edge, just think of what would happen. I mean, are you pregnant?”

I shook my head. “I don’t think so.”

“What would happen if you are?” Ashe asked quietly.

I sighed and put my head in my hands. “I don’t know what would happen. I can’t be pregnant during all this. And something tells me this war isn’t even close to being half way done.”

Ashe nodded in agreement. “This could end up bad.”

“You’re right.” I sighed.

“Avery?” I heard my name.

I turned around from my movie and saw Jake standing there playing with his hands.

“What?” I asked.

“C-can I talked to you for a moment?”

I looked over at Ashe and she smiled with a nod.

I sighed and followed him up the stairs to our room so we could talk, or whatever he wanted to talk about.

“Yes?” I asked as I closed the door.

He sighed and took a seat on the bed.

“I-I’m sorry.” He whispered. I barely heard it, but thanks to my fox hearing, I did.

“What was that?” I asked trying to get him to say it louder.

“I’m sorry.” He said a little louder. But not loud enough for my liking.

“Sorry?” I asked cupping my ear with my hand.

“I’m sorry dammit!” He growled standing up.

“That’s what I thought you said.” I grinned like the Cheshire cat.

“Then why did you have me say it again when you heard me the first time?”

“Because you needed to say it more than once for being an asshole.” I said glaring at him.

I watched him sigh again. “I deserve that.”

I shook my head as he gave me a confused look. “You deserve a lot worse.”

I watched as his face went from confusion to understanding. “I guess you’re right.”

“You guess?” I asked crossing my arms.

“You are right.” He corrected looking me in the eye.

“That’s better.” I smiled.

“I really want to say sorry for treating you like you were below me. I shouldn’t have done it. I was just really worried that something would happen to you when I wasn’t around, or if I was around you. I was scared that you would find better, or you would leave. I was just really scared. I was trying to act tough so you would feel safe, and wouldn’t leave. I guess I got a little carried away.” He gushed looking down at the floor.

I took a deep breathe. I didn’t realize that was how he felt.

I took a couple steps forward until I was right in front of him.

“Jake.” I smiled as I lifted his chin. “I already told you that I wouldn’t leave you. I love you. And only you. I just wish that you would get that through your giant skull and remember it. Well I mean your head is kind of hallow, so you shouldn’t have a problem remembering anything.”

“Oh gee thanks. Feeling the love dear, feeling the love.” He teased.

I laughed along with him. “I’m just kidding. But honestly. I wish you would remember that. And I’m always safe around you. You should know that. I can barely go to the bathroom without someone following me there and making sure I’m safe. And what’s this I hear about you saying that a female guard will come with me into the bathroom whenever I have to go?” I asked giving him a pointed look.

And let me tell you, he looked like a dear caught in a headlight. He went from his natural tan, so being paler than a ghost in 2 seconds flat.

“I-I was just k-kidding. I-I would never do t-that.” He stuttered obviously lying.

“Hmm. Right.” I said nodding, not believing a single word he is saying.

“How did you find out?” He asked rubbing the back of his neck.

“I’m a girl. We find out everything.” I deadpanned.

He nodded. “I’m sorry. I promise I won’t do that.”

“You better not, because if I find out you did.” I said taking a threatening step towards him. “You will kicked out of this room.”

I watched him gulp as he nodded. “Y-yes.”

I smiled and gave an approving nod. “Good.”

“Oh, also. I wanted to say sorry for Kaydon. He would say sorry, but he’s too busy beating himself up. Like he won’t even talk to me right now. I can feel all of his sorrow, guilt, everything. He is so angry with himself right now. So I offered to say sorry for him.”

“Red is pretty pissed off at him to even talk to him right now. But tell Kaydon that she will forgive him when he is ready. And that I forgive him and you for being complete and utter assholes.” I smiled at the last part.

“Really?” Jake asked excited.

“Yes really.” I smiled up at him.

He pulled me too him and gave me a gigantic hug. “Thank you Avery. I love you so so so much..”

“I love you too Jake.” I said as I pulled him closer.

He was about to say something, but Liam burst through the door.

“Victoria is going to talk.” Liam said smiling.
