A super loooong tv soap opera rollercoaster type of story. But all worth it! The conflicts get resolved fast and there’s never a boring chapter. This has been a great daily escape for me.
Nina, a rich-turned-poor-girl, stubbornly ignores and rejects Lucien Gray, a rich, powerful and handsome man. Pride keeps Nina from letting Lucien into her life; pride also doesn’t let him give up on her, to conquer and own her. But is it really pride? Uncover the clash of stubbornness and excessive possessiveness in spite of their love for each other deep down, but will it work?
PS. A lot of major editing and translation lapses but look beyond that and you’ll really enjoy the book.
