Aurelia voiced out, her tone a mix of frustration and worry.., “She's been pushing him to the edge, making him do things he never wanted to, till his mind just shattered. Skyler's a softie at heart and loves the simple life, chill and peaceful. But Tanya's been trying to craft him into some cold-blooded hitman. No wonder Skyler's cracking up"

Aurelia had nothing but awe for Tanya's act. She could pass for the gentlest of ladies, with her kind words and warm smile, hiding the iron fist beneath the velvet glove. It was hard to connect her to the ruthless queen bee of some criminal organization.

Meanwhile, William scored big at the claw machine, grinning as he snagged not one, but two plush toys, one for Skyler, and another for Sierra.

"William, you're a claw machine wizard" Sierra cheered, clearly impressed.

“I've got mad skills,” he boasted with a cocky raise of his eyebrows.

Not too far ahead, they spotted a vintage clothing store.

Aurelia tugged Sierra along, eager to step inside. She always had a thing for retro fashion.

"Sierra, let's each pick out a vintage dress. How about we go out tomorrow all dressed up?"

"Wow, they're gorgeous,” Sierra said, her eyes wide with wonder. This was her first time in a store like this, a change from the usual boutiques and thrift shops she frequented.

Aurelia was drawn to a red dress, while Sierra chose a pleated skirt.

When they stepped out, all dolled up and hair done, Skyler let out a low whistle. “Angel, you look stunning, like a nymph straight out of ancient times"

“And what about Sierra?” Aurelia asked with a smile.

Skyler chuckled, covering his mouth, “Sierra looks amazing too. She's got that exotic beauty, like the princesses you see on TV"

Sierra, being from abroad, wore the vintage dress with a unique charm that was all her own. Leopold's gaze lingered on Aurelia.

This was the first time he'd seen her in such attire, and he couldn't help but think that even the most celebrated beauties of ancient lore would pale in comparison to his wife.

Their striking appearance drew a crowd outside the store, causing the bodyguards to step in and keep the onlookers at bay.

To avoid disrupting business, they quickly changed back and left the store, not before paying for their dresses.

After a stroll through the night market, they returned to the hotel, where Megan had just arrived. Seeing Leopold with Aurelia, her blood boiled with jealousy.

"Honey, where have you been?” she demanded.

"Since when do I need to report my whereabouts to you?” Leopold retorted coldly and headed for his room.

Megan's face turned red in anger, “I just want to be with you. Is that so wrong?"

Leopold spun around, his grip tight on her throat, “Until AK Group is out of the picture, don't even dream of becoming more than a mistress. Think about where you stand.”

Megan was getting nervous. Without the backing of AK Group, she was even more vulnerable. And she couldn't afford to leave the Group, not when they were her best shot at getting rid of Kane, the thorn in her side.

"As long as Kane is alive, I can't cut ties with AK Group,” she thought desperately.

"You have to believe me, I have nothing to do with them anymore,” she pleaded.

Leopold's handsome face twisted into a sneer, “Believe you? Even a dog is more loyal than you are.” The sting of his words was like a slap across her face, leaving her cheeks burning. Tears welled up in her eyes.

"If I were your only woman, if you loved only me, I would do anything for you, even give you my life. But you treat those other temptresses better than you treat me. It's killing me, Leopold. I can barely stand to love you anymore."
