Callies face turned ashen. Among her two daughters, Megan had always been her favorite. She could never have strayed so far from the right path.

"I'll get to the bottom of this,’ Callie declared, “If you've cursed Megan, I won't let you get away with it"

With that, she stormed out, leaving Aurelia to her coffee.
